I had a lumpectomy performed by Dr. Unrue said he would put mamo site in while I was in surgery he didn't had me come to his office to insert in surgery site 5 days after surgery told me to take pain pill before appointment didn't help very painful. After mamo site was remove at oncology developed hematoma very painful he didn't want to drain had me put heating pad on for several weeks was in so much pain he said my body would absorb blood it didnt. I was so sick and running fever when I went back found out I had infection put in hospital did another surgery. Released 3 days later test showed I had MRSA so went back for surgery again 10 days. Went home with a port in my neck for high powered antibiotics for a month. I had a 3x2 inch hole in my breast that had to be packed for 7 months. My breast cancer returned 7 years later I went to Scott and White for double mastectomy.

I had my Gallbladder removed laproscopically. I waited 8 hours to go back for the initial surgery with Dr. Unruh. I was released from the hospital and had to go back to the Emergency room with internal bleeding. I lost 40% of my blood and ended up with a very large Hematoma in my right side. Dr. Unruh was very evasive and would not take the time to explain what was happening. On my follow up he tried to avoid my questions and was always in a rush to get out of the room. His bedside manner is terrible and he has a temper. I am seeking medical attention elsewhere for the complications from this surgery. I would NOT recommend Dr. Unruh for any of your surgical procedures.

Dr Unruh completed an acute appendectomy in summer 2011. Quick recovery. Minimal scarring. In fall 2011 he also took my husbands gallbladder great recovery considering men having any procedure done; ). Now 2013 I have been seeing Dr. Unruh for gallbladder symptoms, had a sonogram of the abdomen Thursday and follow up on Wednesday. Love the time he takes to listen and is considerate of your symptoms during visits. Mrs. Esparza

Dr. performed breast lumpectomy, nurse was obnoxious, only spoke to my husband about 30 sec. after surgery, went to place mamosite and he forgot to place novicane under breast before he started to tug on the baloon to remove it. then started to shout to his nurse to stop that he had forgot something. Had to ask about my path report he did not sit down and explain anything. Will never use again

Dr. Unruh was the most disappointing doctor that I have ever had. He left me in pain hoping than an anal abcess would eventually "go away." It didn't and a week later he had to cut me open and insert drains. It was one of the most horrible experiences I have ever had with a doctor and his arrogance appalled me. I told him the whole week I was in the hospital it was an abcess, but he chose to ignore me. I have told as many people as I can to stay away from him and I will continue until he retires. He needs to be disbarred!

Dr. Unruh did my sonshernia surgery when he was seven. Everything went very well he healed quickly. I have no complaints. I remember the nurses at the hospital commenting on how he likes to close himself and how gentle he is. My son is now 18 and does not even have a visible scar left. He was recommended by the family practioner we had at the time.

Dr. Unruh did 2 surgeries on me, the first one was trying to correct the second one. It started out as a hemmroidectomecty but ended up being an ordeal that became unbearable. Dr. Unruh would not listen to me when I told him I had an anal ab cess and he put me through torture having me wait until he decided to do surgery on what was an "anal abcess" after all according to him. I am very disappointed in the way I was treated and I don't think anyone deserves to be treated like I was and left to suffer for 2 weeks.
