On 1st visit she failed to make all my referrals. Upon 2nd visit she was not punctual & made me wait again. She has a gross indifference to me as a patient and has a terrible bedside manor. She talks AT me, not TO me. She prescribed an antibiotic that is widely known to be harmful to patients with UC. It was prescribed for a condition I didn't even have symptoms for. This caused me to have a flare and blood in my stool. My local physician said bacteria in urine is very common and does not warrant a script if no symptoms are present. She prescribed me the harmful antibiotic anyway. It killed off the good flora in my colon and has made me terribly ill. If it was not a VA clinic I could have her shut down and sue her and the VA. Unfortunately she cannot be sued without extremely gross negligence. Point in fact, it could have been much worse had I not stopped the medicine on my own and pay out of pocket locally for a doctor's care. It is an affront to my Veteran wife & vets everywhere.
