My husband tore a ligament in his knee , on the first visit he looked at my husbands chart and said you had an mri and it was blurry ,yes I have asked for another one , no need you have a tear it should heal on it’s own I will give you a cortisone shot for pain and see me in theee months . Back in three months the tear is still there he says the tear is worse but nothing I can do you will probably never go back to work . So my husband pleaded with him that he wants his life back it’s been 6 months please help me .nope . Can you please refer me to someone else I would like a second opinion . No I don’t see the point . My husband is in tears now and says the point is I’m a 40 year old man who isnt done living yet ! He has no compassion , not willing to help at all just wanted to give a cortisone shot and be done. Worst experience we have ever encountered with a doctor! If he didn’t want to help or just couldn’t that’s fine then refer us to someone else .people get full knee replacements I don’t believe that there is nothing to be done .

I had this doctor replace a partial knee that was never right and it was wonderful until I fell. I went beck a month after I fell and he took xrays and told me that the replacement was fine and that whatever was wrong would only take a little more time to heal because I have fibromyalgia. So I took him at his word. Almost a year later and still doing exercises twice a day it was only getting worse so I decided to go back to physio for some help at my own expense. After 2 and a half months it was still no better and the therapist released me with more exercises saying that she could do no more for me. I made another appointment with Dr. Noronha and he took another xray and came to me saying that I had wasted my time and that nothing was wrong with the implant. He did not even examine my knee!!! I left in tears because I can no longer even down the street without a great deal of pain and it wakes me several times a night, He did want to hear any of it. I feel that he should have examined my knee further in case I have soft tissue damage which I believe to my problem. Now I am headed back to my GP to see if she can get me another OS for a second opinion but knowing what the wait times are here in Ontario for OS I will have suffer for probably another year. I am not impressed!

When I broke my finger in two places Dr. Noronha was very helpful and knowledgeable by informing me on what I need to do in order for my injury to heal quickly, I had regular checkups and never felt any pain. I am so very thankful I had Dr. Noronha as my doctor.

He is ok as a doctor. ..but his bedside manners are terrible. ..you'll wait for 2 to 3 hours as you can listen to him talk about the weather, his Mercedes car, his local friends. Will I get him again, never.

Have been living with constant pain since having bunion surgery spring of 2011. He removed my great toe joint & that toe now crosses over the other toes. It took from spring 2011 until JAN. 2014 to see the chief of ortho at St. Michaels Hospital. He made it very clear that he can't do anything for the pain as there is nerve & tendon damage. He will straighten out my foot & will temporarily put in a new pin. Wish I never had the original surgery!!
