I have been a patient of Dr. May's for well over 10 years. She is wonderful. I have always found her to be very professional, knowledgeable, kind, helpful and personable - all the qualities I look for in a health-care professional. I am always impressed by her great sense of humor and fantastic memory. She actually remembers things you tell her from a previous visit which is pretty impressive considering how many patients she sees. I highly recommend her and will not go to anyone else.

I can't begin to explain how disappointed I was this morning with Dr. May. I am 37 weeks pregnant and have been to her practice for the entire duration of my pregnancy this far but this was my first time with Dr. May. I had an 8:30 am appointment which I was 10 minutes early for. I was not seen by Dr. May until 9:10. I had only one question to ask, which she did answer but she did so as briefly as possible. She then let me hear the baby's heart beat for about 30 seconds. Told me that she was not going to do an internal exam today and flew out of the room. She didn't even measure my uterus which they've done every week for months! Overall between driving to the Dr and back, and waiting... I wasted 3 hours of my day to get 5 minutes of the Doctors attention. I will NEVER schedule another appointment with Dr. May.

Dr. May has been my doctor for the many years including the birth of my three children. Although she is not quite punctual, I have found working with her is worth the wait. I have never felt rushed out of the room and she thoroughly answers my questions. She always asks about my family and knows them by name.

Cold, incompetent, rushed, terrible bedside manner. She delivered one of my children and I can guarantee that she will not be delivering any future children. The rest of the office staff is AMAZING , I love the practice, just not the way Dr. May practices.

Very harsh, made me leave the practice. I was 18 and she treated me like I shouldn't have been there.

Dr May takes the time needed with her patients her staff is attentive and she respects your time is punctual. She has a good bedside manner as well.

Obviously it's best to be prepared to wait a bit at a busy OB practice. Dr May's gentle manner is the best and never fails to put me at ease. I would definitely follow if she changed practices.

Dr. May was highly recommended, however I found her manner to be brusque and impatient. She ordered several tests for me, but didn't really explain her course of action, just handed me the lab forms and told me to get it done. (I didn't even know where to go or how to go about getting it done!) She was not interested in hearing my super brief medical background. It was as though she was on auto-pilot with a set routine and she was going to execute that routine, no matter what. I'm sure her medical knowledge is superb, but her cold personality makes me feel like anonymous, rushed, and like a head of cattle being pushed down a chute.
