He removed one badly decayed wisdom tooth when I was 34 weeks pregnant and did a fantastic job. I was terrified and had a panic attack. He came in, grabbed my hand and checked my pulse. He reassured me all is well and told me a funny story to take my mind off of it. I was fine the tooth was out in 5 seconds and I had no after effects whatsoever.

I wouldn’t recommend this donkey to anyone. I went in for a simple wisdom teeth removal, went to the hospital for constant bleeding, they then sent me home. A day later I ended up in emergency because of a cyst in my throat which was preventing me from breathing. Was in critical ICU for 3 days before they were able to knock the swelling down. Went in to see him, and all he had to say was “you should of called me I could of gotten rid of that in 3 minutes”. Even though it took 3 days for highly trained doctors to get rid of it. He rushes every single thing he does with every patient.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

DR DAHLMAN IS THE WORST DOCTOR I HAVE VISITED, he shows no compassion for his patients and informs them that whatever they have is “definitely not normal”, he is not reassuring at all!

I urge anyone who requires an oral surgeon to steer away from Dr. Darren Dahlman as you will leave the clinic extremely scared and uncertain for your life

Had a lesion removed for biopsy. His bedside manner was incredibly comforting, he is confident and made me feel informed and safe. Day one and pain is fair, but not unmanagable. Thankful he was my surgeon.

Dr Dahlman has extracted wisdom teeth for all 4 of our kids, and we highly recommend him. Very knowledgable, efficient, and a good sense of humour too. Helpful and friendly staff too.

My mother had her wisdom teeth removed by him and the surgery was a disaster..

He performed an extraction on myself some years ago, and his nurses failed to get me under general anesthesia; I was awake for the whole surgery - my body shut down as a response, and his team had the audacity to tell me they hadn't begun the procedure yet. My mouth had to heal, and I had to see him a second time to re-attempt the surgery. I implore anyone who is referred to this man to see any other oral surgeon in Abbotsford. The errors and pain he will cause are not worth it.

Dr Dahlman just removed all my 4 wisdom teeth this morning and let me tell you-He is a magician. The general anesthesia didn't work on me as expected, so he had to take a fast and accurate decision and that's exactly what he did. He injected the local anesthetic and before I know the teeth were gone ( maybe 5 min in total)-this comment is in concern for the guys, according to whom he is not taking enough time or is not compassionate, let me ask you-would you prefer someone to pull/push on your jaw for hours just to consider his/her job is worth the money? If so-go and enjoy your inexperienced/very slow, but super compassionate other alternative Dentist/surgeon who could handle this. As to the ''cocky'' behavior-it goes with all this time spent in school and some honesty(which a lot of people lack nowadays). SO WTG Dr Dahlman and thank you to you and the stuff in Clayburn dental.

PS-the 4 star for punctuality is only because there was a slight delay from my original appointment, which considering the waiting times in your regular doctors office was insignificant.
