Best ob/gyn i have ever seen. She saved my life, my mothers life and even my daughter! All three of us see her as patients. She went through extensive testing and found my mothers breast cancer when everone else dismissed it. She found my appendix cancer and saved my life; and she has removed pre-cancerous cells from my daughter's cervix before they became a problem! She is thorough and treats each patient as if they are her only patient. I woke up and found her sitting next to my bed at 6am at the hospital- ready to give me all the attention i needed at the time. She is an incredible doctor and human being! Will never see anyone else!

Dr.Matuszek saved my life. She consulted several specialists and did everything possible to save me and my baby. She even had me transferred hospitals to one with a Level III NICU. Unfortunately, my daughter passed away because I was only 23 weeks pregnant when we had to deliver her, and Dr.Matuszek was right there crying with us. She checked on me in the hospital almost every day and even came in at 4 am one day to see me. I will never use another obgyn.

Worst experience of my life. I was pregnant & started spotting. The ultrasound tech told me the reason I was spotting was because I had a uterine septum & one side of my uterus didn't know the other side was pregnant! That theory is impossible! Then I had to rely on that tech telling me my baby had died. They had me go out to the front desk (in front of everyone) so I could talk to the dr. on the phone to confirm the miscarriage. Terrible terrible experience!

I have been seeing Dr. M and her NP Julie for about 4 years now. The pregnancy of my son and the birth of him were amazing and Dr. M did an amazing job. One thing though..After, I had been having some female problems with dysplasia. Almost 2 years later after it had been almost cleared up they let me know it was because of a strain of HPV. I was ticked that they hadnt told me this in the begginning. I finally did research and asked the NP at my next appointment a whole bunch of questions. She took every minute to answer me and was very caring. She apologized that nothing had really been explained before. I realized it wasnt that they didnt tell me.. It was that I wasnt asking the right questions. I reccomend DR. M and the NP anyday. Sometimes her assistiants can get snippy on the phone though if they are in a rush.

If you have a life don't see her. The waits to see her are often 90 minutes. Staff does not inform you of long waits. I believe she's over booking to pay for her new office and equipment.

I switched to Dr. M when almost 8 mos. pregnant with my 1st child, 10 yrs ago.(prev.OB made me feel like a #, and was rude) She is one of the BEST dr's I've ever known. She is very knowledgable, honest and I trust her. I also love her NP Julie. They both give me as much time as I need during visits, so I never mind the wait I have, knowing she does the same for other pts. They have both been there for me for a total of 6 pregnancies, 2 of which were miscarriages. The ultrasound tech, Katie, has always been pleasant and kind, welcoming my family to be present at all of my scans. Dr. M has been a blessing to me through my joys and my sorrows. No office is perfect, I had an occasional issue with some of the office staff a long time ago..but it was worth it to have a caring, professional compassionate Dr who takes time to give excellent care to each of her patients. Her practice has grown tremendously since I began there, but she still possesses the qualities that make her stand out.

Dr Matuszek and her office staff are wonderful. I don't understand why the negative comments. Everyone has to wait in an office now a days. They were caring, returned every phone call the same day (or at least left a message if I was unavailable). You are always asked who you want to see (ie-the doctor or the nurse practitioner). When I was having a problem, I asked to see the doctor and was seen that morning. She even came in early before her office started. I'd never go anywhere else!

Dr. Matuszek is very nice and overall a good doctor. The 2 things that bother me: 1. It can be very hard to get in to see her. I was told it would take 3 months. 2. She performed a hysterectomy on me(and did a very good job), but noone on her staff seem concerned that a full year later, I spot after sex. I have NO reproductive organs.....there should be no spotting. I'm currently looking for a new doctor.

I think Janet is a great dr but believe her practice may have grown to a size that is neg effecting the type of intimate service she once gave. My first pregnancy was great, very uneventful, luckily. My 2nd not so much. I had some serious preeclampsia issues and ended up being induced 3 wks early. Her partner and staff didn't seem as concered about my situation as I thought they should be based on what Janet had previously told me. I brought myself to the hospital after taking bp at home and it's a good thing I did. I am not sure if my experience slipped through the cracks b/c she was on holiday when I was induced but after a horrific pregnancy and delivery I still had issues. I continued to call the office to tell them something was WRONG-it was almost like I wasn't being taken seriously. Long story short I had to have a D&C 10 wks post partum b/c their was still placenta in there:(. I should have trusted my gut and insisted. It makes me sad but I am now looking for a new dr.
