Dr. Zboinski operated on me in October 2010. This is when he worked in Hopewell Junction, NY. My husband is a physician and Dr. Zboinski was recommended to my husband by a colleague who worked with him in the operating room and could attest to his ability. I am a runner and needed bunion surgery on both feet. Dr. Zuboinski was reluctant to operate on both of my feet on the same day but I was persistent as I did not want my recovery time doubled and I wanted to be back running ASAP. I was a healthy 44 year old with no other health problems. I had heard horror stories about this surgery so I was very scared. When I spoke with Dr. Zboinski about complications, questions about the surgery, etc he was always professional and took as much time as needed for me to be reassured. His confidence made me feel secure and helped me to move forward with the procedure. He agreed to do both feet at once but insisted that I be diligent with the post surgical instructions. Staying off my feet for a period (using only my heels with crutches an extremely limited amount.) After that phase, I had to wear plastic foot braces, like boots. I followed his instructions precisely. I had absolutely no problems and I was given permission to start running again "as tolerated" exactly 8 weeks after the surgery. I had some minor pain when running to start and that steadily decreased until I was pain free. I am still running everyday 4 years later. I consider my decision to have surgery with Dr. Zboinski one of the best decisions I have ever made....only wish I had done it sooner!

Dr. Z is a wonderful person and a superb surgeon. I would trust any member of my family in his care and am very happy to have found him when I needed surgery for myself.

I am dr. zboinski's patient and I have needed a prescription since 5 days ago at this point. I called on Friday, stating that I urgently needed a refill on my meds. His staff did not get back to me until monday. They called in a perscription for a drug that was not available at my pharmacy, which is a large duane reade. On tuesday the pharmacy said they could give me an alternate medication if they could reach the doctor. Needless to say his staff could not reach him, due to the fact that he is only in on wednesdays and fridays. The pharmacy asked the staff to page the doctor and they said they cannot reach him when he is not in the office. I have now been in incredible pain since last friday, and supposedly am getting my meds tomorrow. For someone who runs a practice where pain is a major factor, the office is incredibly inconsiderate, and the doctor is completely inaccessible.

He is great - only does feet and maybe ankles. They have an xray machine on site so if you need an xray, there's no waiting. He's also realistic about treatment for those who do sports. He will work with your activity level.
