Biography
Dr. Steven Best is a board certified psychiatrist practicing at the Midwest Institute of Neurological Discovery. At the practice, patients from blank can get advanced treatment for a variety of conditions including bipolar disorder, learning disabilities, developmental disorders, and Alzheimer’s disease. He earned his Medical degree at the University of Cincinnati and completed a fellowship at the Chicago Medical School. There he was trained in functional brain imaging and Neuropsychiatry. At the North Chicago Ann Kiley Center, Dr. Best provided Neuropsychiatric consultations to developmentally disabled adults who suffered from severe behavior and psychiatric disorders. His post-fellowship training is in Psychopharmacology and is a member of the ASCP (American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology). Dr. Best, along with the staff of Midwest Institute of Neurological Discovery, are devoted to ensuring their patients receive the most advanced, most effective care available for whatever neurological or psychological issue they are dealing with. By working with the pediatric neurology practice left to him by Dr. Vuckovich, Dr. Best has developed his treatment for child and adolescent psychiatry. The practice and Dr. Best are known for their astounding psychiatric and neurological care for child and adult patients suffering from complex disorders and illnesses. The Midwest Institute of Neurological Discovery and Dr. Best welcome new patients of all ages to the practice where most major forms of medical insurance are accepted.
