Appears quite knowledgable but his attitude is arrogant and at times very rude. His staff can't be beat!

I went to Hazra about 8 years ago,just like other ppl here state this doctor is so rude and mean!I told him from the start I did not think I had Diabetes, but hey what do I know its only my body!He even accused me of faking my problems (I kept fainting and he said it was low blood sugar).He had me taking meds for type 2 diabetes for 3 years ,im NOT diabetic after all i went to another doctor and found i have anxiety and since ive been on new med I havnt needed Hazra's meds in 5 years,CAUSE I WAS NEVER DIABETIC IN THE FIRST PLACE!He thinks he's above evryone cause they have limited endocrinologists in st.cathrines.

I was warned by another patient in the waiting room...that he was mean. So I was expecting the worst. I found him helpful on the first visit after that it went down hill fast. I had gestational diabetes..so I am thankful that I am no longer diabetic.

His receptionist was VERY nice. Even she warned me that he was a crank and would be rude to me.It was aweful. He asked when my last drink was, I told him I had ONE on xmas and he accuses me of being an alcoholic. He refused to answer any questions I had. He wanted me to get a monitor and I said "I can't afford strip is there anywhere I can go to get help with that?" and he jumped down my throat, loudly declaring it wasn't his problem and how the hell is he supposed to do his job if I don't co-operate. He was so rude, talked down to me, accused me of horrible things that weren't true. my husband almost decked him (and he's never hit anybody) but that's how abd Hazra is. It's too bad there isn't anyone else in the city that can do his job. He is a piece of trash. Drive to another city if you can people!

He and office staff were very helpful to me as pregnant with diabetes who need insulin.they gave me free pen and insulin to start treatment ,they provid me with valuable information for my diet,they call back for results and appointment.Dr.hazra is very knowledgable and knows what he doing.

I saw him as a young, pregnant diabetic. He never answered my questions and treated me like a second class citizen. He was the only doctor of his type in the Niagara area at the time so I decide to drive to Kitchener-Waterloo area for another doctor.

I want to see him 2 x's .rude arrogant and does not answer Questions.I know more about my illness then he does.Asked Simple Questions and will not give you the time of day ,Waves you out of his office when finnished Does nor care about the wellfare of his Patients,Does not like to be disturbed and Staff does not like to give you copies of your Medical ,Labs/Records etc., ,Which everyone by law has a right to copies of their Lab Work ,Recptionist does not like to bother him for labwork ,Seems scard of Him ??? Never go back to him .

Dr Hazra is the meanest, most insensitive doctor I have ever met in my life. I found out I had diabetes about 2 years ago after going to doctors for years telling them that something was wrong with me and being told I just was low on iron. It was a walk in clinic that finally found out what was going on. I was excited to finally be seeing a specialist until about 5 minutes after I met Dr Hazra. I found him extremely rude. He treated me like it was my fault I was sick. After starting insulin, losing 25 lbs, quitting smoking, going on a low GI diet and walking a few times a day he still insisted that I was doing something wrong to cause my high blood sugar! He was not only ignorant to me but to my husband too! Anna his secretary is a doll but he is a jerk. I will never step foot in his office again! Like the other poster said, God help you if you have diabetes and have to have him as your doctor!

Dr. Hazra is very knowledgeable when it comes to Diabetes. He is thorough in his examinations and tests for his patients. He may seem abrupt at times, but this is because he really does care about how you use the knowledge he imparts to you, and wants you to be as good a patient as he is a doctor. Ask questions. Learn from him. Use his advise, he can help you stay well and stay around for a longer time than if you don't. Most people who don't like their doctors don't know how to be or won't be a good patient.
