My initial impression of the office & Dr. Laurilla was good. However,I had a filling done & was drilled deeper than I think it should have been because the tooth is still bothering me. I also had a reaction to the anesthetic & my face swelled considerably & I had discomfort for over a week after a filling. So this is where my good impression went downhill. I called the office & did not receive a call back about my face swelling & what I should do. Everytime I have tried to call the office, noone answers the phone & did not receive a timely call back. I don't feel that my concerns regarding the swelling in my face were addressed at all. Also I asked about a co-payment day of visit & was told not to worry insurance will take care of it & then a few weeks later I received a bill in the mail. I would have preferred to pay at the time of my visit rather than receive an unexpected bill in the mail. At this point, I feel that I will be looking for a new dentist.

Recently, a front tooth was knocked during a surgical procedure. This was an emergency and Dr Laurilla treated me the day I called. He spent hours with me. He is intelligent, friendly, and extremely patient. Also, he is an expert when it comes to cosmetic dentistry. I've lived in Yardley, PA for 27 years and tried 5 other dentists. Finally, I have a dentist I can trust. BTW, staff is wonderful, esp Dana. Best hygienist EVER!

Dr. Laurilla is a fantastic dentist! This testimonial is coming from someone who has a strong fear of dentists and has encountered some really bad ones over the years. Dr. Laurilla is a very understanding and knowledgeable dentist. He explains everything to the patient in terms they understand and takes the time to listen to them. I finally have found a dentist that makes me feel comfortable and has helped to reduce my fears greatly! Thank you, Dr. Laurilla!

Interesting....as I went to him based on the first couple comments yet my experience mirrors the last two - when faced with a challenge, he is frustrated and perplexed - and dodges any question that may put him in a bad light. I will also be changing dentists.

It is interesting that the last reviewer stated that Dr. Laurilla does not like to be challenged as I found the EXACT same thing to be true. Though it's true that his assistant is very nice, the office is clean, and he is initially quite friendly, he does not take well to too many questions that he perceives as challenging his authority. I am sure that a patient who accepts all and does not question too much will be very happy with him, but I will be looking for another dentist. Thank you to the last reviewer as now I know that it wasn't me. Somebody has a problem!

I found him initially nice and patient however, he does not like to be challenged in his approach and I felt he drilled more on my tooth than I would have liked. His finishing is not as good as I have had in the past and my tooth does not look as cosmetically good as I am used to. I admit I had high expectations based on the reviews here, but would have liked a better outcome.

Being new to the area and in urgent need of a dentist, I turned to the internet. I found Dr. Laurilla on this site. Seeing the positive ratings, I decided to give him a try. I concur with all the raves given by other reviewers. I was a difficult case, but Dr. Laurilla was dedicated to resolving my concerns and we got a positive outcome. He took the time to discuss all the options with me, answered all my questions, and gave good advice. I couldn't recommend him more highly. He and his assistant, Renee, are friendly, professional and caring. I'm back on this site to add another "5" for Dr. Laurilla so other people looking for a dentist online will give him a try too. He's the best.

Dr. Laurilla is fantastic. Going to the dentist becomes not only tolerable, but actually pleasant. He is so friendly and puts you right at ease. Renee is helpful and friendly as well. Dr. Laurilla is very knowledgeable, and will address any concerns you have. I have the night guard which works fantastically- when i remember to use it. I highly recommend a visit to this office if you are in need of a dentist.

Dr. Laurilla is an awesome dentist. Knows his stuff, friendly and will always chat with you about even "silly" questions that you really want answers to. I think he's the best and I've recommended 4 other patients to him.
