I have been seeing Dr.Thomas Sachy for over a year now and he is probably the reason I am still alive today. I am a 37 year old woman with mental and physical issues and have had them since I was 7 years old. This was the first psychiatrist that I saw and have seen many, many ... until now. I had resorted to self-medicating the last 10 years prior to meeting him. Before I met him was doing heroin and dilaudid intravenously in my carotid artery. I had been to several rehabs and detox centers, but to no avail. He listens to me and remembers me and our conversations no matter how long the space is until my next appointment as I am a self paying patient with no insurance and no income. I am completely mentally and physically disabled. but as I said, had I not first walked into his office that first day, I would not be alive today to tell my testimony. He honestly does care for his patients. He doesn't rush you in and out and he is down to Earth and He is the real deal. I walked into his office to get help expecting the same in and out, cold and "I am better than you are treatment I have always gotten but instead I found my life again, a friend, a someone I can FINALLY trust.

I'm still seeing Dr Sachy after seeing numerous psychiatrist since the age of 11-12. Many things were overlooked by other psychiatrist not hearing me, hearing others opinions of what was wrong. I will not see another psychiatrist since he's properly diagnosed me with other diagnosis being physical as well. Ones that don't understand even the slightest about mental health are the first ones to know what's best. Even know what meds would work hearing from others. I'll stick & continue to trust & know Dr Sachy can trust me more than he most likely wishes too...

I was diagnosed with major depression at the age of 12 yrs old. The only answer in the early 80's was meds & hospitalization. I began to reach for anything to get me through the day not realizing I was becoming dependent on anything addictive. I worked in the medical field, enjoyed more than anything knowing I helped ones in need....... Major depression isn't being lazy, not needing a pep talk. Someone born with an illness just like depression already knows what they should be doing & can't figure out why they just can't get things done as they get older. In 2005, after 6 other phys..Dr Sachy has testified in court to testify that I'm a fit Mother, pulled me out of several dark holes..Thank God I was lead to him at the age I was because many physical issues have been diagnosed that had been overlooked since my early teens. Such as my body doesn't produce Potassium. Dr Sachy takes time to explain everything I'm quick to say if I don't understand!!!!!! Love Dr Sachy 4 many reasons!!!!

Dr. Sachy gave my life back to me. I enjoy playing with my grandkids for the very first time.Some would say you wait but I look at it like this He NEVER RUSHES ME NEVER!So I don"t expect him to rush patients just for me the staff is wonderful they treat you with respect. I can never say enough about Dr. Sachy & his staff. Thank you doesn't seem enough when someone saves your life

Dr. Sachy has given me my life back. Since 1995, my bipolar disorder was treated in "hit-and-miss" fashion by many other doctors throughout Georgia. Thank you, Dr. Sachy for a full year of being mania free!
