It saddens me to see how some patients have lashed out at this benevolent and caring doctor. The nature of this type of illness can cause one to grossly mispercieve reality and one of the greatest misfortunes is that it can make the people most vital to our health seem like the enemy. Craig Vine is a caring and compassionate man who looks out for the welfare of his patients only through the most careful application of knowledge and seeking to "find the line of best fit" as best as one can be inserted into the chaotic pattern that our illnesses present him. If you are fortunate enough to find your way into his office then I pray to God that your illness is subdued enough to allow for a grain of trust into what he has to offer you. I have been a patient of Craig Vine for over six years and he has faithfully ministered to my affliction even as I try and resist treatment. Dr. Vine to you I pray a prayer of gratitude and revoke the prayer for mercy.

Dr Vine is a wonderful psychiatrist. I have been seeing him for over six years and he has always been kind and supportive even when i have been difficult and/or not followed his instructions. I trust him to always act in my best interest. The staff in the Fairview Riverside Hospital psych wards do a great job in what has got to be one of the hardest and most thankless parts of the hospital. I would recomend Dr Vine and Fairview to anyone i knew who was in need of help.

This is a factory practice. I went to see him to get another point of view on my meds for ADD,depression. I spent 45 minutes with his nurse, doing a history, then 5 minutes--literally 5 minutes with him. He was impersonal, disinterested, and had no relational skills (non on display that day). He started walking me out and I said, "that's it?" No plan, no talk of a plan, nothing. I told him I would not be coming back and this wasn't going to work. You would think he might ask why? What happended? I vet guys like him for my clients, make many referrals to therapists, MD"s every year. Avoid this practice at all costs. I told him not to bill my insurance, that his service delivery was unsatisfactory. This was no assessment. He replied, no I will send you a bill anyway. If you have this kind of experience, know that there are real quality MD's out there. Just not this one.

The Fairview Riverside is one of the most diabolical and unsafe places to ever bring someone you love for mental health issues. Dr. Craig Vine is extremely dangerous and I pray he will lose his license as he had no basis in the record to give the diagnosis he did, yet, he inappropriately did so. The medications he approved were both unnecessary and complicated the correct diagnosis. Truly Thyroid issues are a HUGE problem and Dr. Vine never even checked me for it. I was in a thyroid coma near death and he nearly killed me. Doctors are supposed to help. He is the epitome of evil. I pray law enforcement investigates these illegal and unsavory practices of both Dr. Vine and Fairview Riverside. Please, Do not EVER have Craig Vine or any other doctor from Fairview Riverside -- Extremely dangerous. Hannibal Lector has nothing on this man or this facility. Please, please, get help from those who truly are knowledgeable, loving, and compassionate. May God have mercy on them both.

Dr Vine is excellent! I had the VNS implanted while under his care and he and the VNS has been very helpful. Dr Vine has always taken the time to listen and work with me on what I want.

Craig Vine intentionally ignored health issues, made up documentation with no basis, prescribed abusive amounts of harmful drugs, he is quite ****. He amused himself saying insurance wouldn't pay. He is very abusive.

I have been under Dr Vine's care for almost 5 years. He immediately addresses any concern I have, and he seems to be extremely well-versed as far as medications, their dosages, and effects. After 10 years of treatment with other doctors who didn't quite hit the mark, he has been a welcome change for the better in the treatment of my chronic illness.

Dr. Vine rambled without letting me speak. He ordered dangerous levels of drugs that caused migranes, hot flashes, slurred speech. He held me in lockup for a very long time. I started taping his sessions because he made no sense. He had my tape recorder taken away. His notes contained many lies. He is an abusive person.
