Stay away. On my visit, an exam was done. I asked for a basic cleaning and was declined the opportunity. I was told I had periodontal disease and would need uncovered, expensive treatments. I was told I needed 3 root canal treatments with crowns, and quite a few fillings, 10+. I asked for my x-rays, and was declined, after reading the laws that govern this to the person on the phone, I was told I could have the x-rays for 20 bucks. A second opinion at my old dentist revealed very healthy gums, and the need for 4 fillings and no other treatment. Also, a normal routine cleaning was performed. This company exists to prey on unsuspecting people, and operates with little to no integrity. Please do not let them destroy your life.

Five members of our family were customers for years. Our kids who are now teens dreaded their visits. Not a positive environment for them. Even though Crystal was thorough, she made all of us feel as if we didn't take proper care of our teeth no matter how much we tried to improve. Attempting to sell us overpriced products not covered by insurance and not needed was also a problem. Also as I lay flat in the dentist chair, I was shown an invoice with a prior amount on 1 child and was told that it HAD to be paid before I left today! Well it turns out that we didn't owe this amount and after 6 months of disputing it with this office, our credit card company and insurance, they finally refunded the overcharge which was clearly their fault. Never received an apology and will not return.

I am happy to hear I am not the only one with advanced periodontal disease, despite going to my dentist evey 6 months.I changed dentists due to a insurance change and scheduled an appointment for a routine exam and cleaning. I should have suspected something when I was able to schedule an appoinment within a day.The dentist examined me immediately, didnt say 2 words and indicated I had several cavities and needed a crown. When I inquired about my cleaning I was told that the hygenists needs to determine a treatment plan before proceeding, during the exam I was advised that I had advanced periodiontal disease and would require a $1000+ deep cleaning and my cavities would cost seveval hundred dollars (despite have a dental plan that covers this for 100%). I was refused the routine cleaning that I had scheduled. I drove back to my old dentist who quickly guessed who provided the diagnosis and confirmed that I had no gum disease and made the appt for my cleaning. Highly unethical

I went to Dr. Byrds office for a cleaning. They probed my gums and decided (just like the other reviews) I needed a deep cleaning! I said no thank you I just want a regular cleaning at which point I was ignored. The assistant came back in with a hefty sheet of charges and circled all that my insurance would not pay and advised I would need to come out of pocket $200 for the deep cleaning. She stated they could polish my teeth but could not perform any scaling without the deep cleaning. I again told her I want the same type of cleaning like I have received for the last 30 years of my life, she snapped at me and said "well I don't know what kind of cleaning that is" The hygienist started yelling from another room that they could not do the scaling without the deep cleaning. It was at this point I decided to leave. Please read other reviews here, also note most of the positive reviews left on this site are obviously written by the same person. This place is like a shady car repair shop.

Dr. Byrd and his staff are great. Had a root canal and crown done yesterday. Being very nervous about dentists from prior visits. Dr. Byrd was very caring and calming. Everything went great with the procedures. The price was what I was expecting and there were no hidden charges. His assistant and front office staff were also top notch. Finally I found a dentist that I can trust. I will see no one else other than Dr. Byrd. Thank you for your caring for me.

I've had scaling done there before, but it was needed. This trip they didn't say I needed it again, in fact, the regular cleaning they gave me was the best cleaning I've head in 15 years. I saw the issue in the past, but I think their staffing has changed, and would recommend them highly after my experience yesterday.

I love my dentist experiences at this office - very friendly, helpful staff, they explain and give everyone a quote before agreeing and signing papers for work to be done - no one has to sign but all is explained in detail first. I have never been blindsided in any way and my husband feels the same way - wouldn't go anywhere else unless they close the doors. Rated A+ with me...

Dr. Byrd and his staff are so gentle and caring that I recommend our dentist to everyone. They have worked on my whole family and they have given each one of us the upmost attention.

I was seen by Dr Byrd and his staff they were very friendly and caring. I don't have insurance so they keep my treatment very conservative and only addressed the issues I was concerned with.If your looking for a nice dentist, you will be happy with Dr Byrd's practice.

I have had my teeth cleaned several times by the hygientist and she does a wonderful job!!! I have had a crown done by Dr. Williamson and it was absolutley painless. Wonderful office and would recommend to all my family and friends.
