This office is a SCAM of unnecessary treatments. I have always been consistent with the health of my teeth. Switching jobs means switching insurances so I picked this one that was the closest to my area. When I went JUST for a routine cleaning, they had exam me and right off the bat they said I had deep pockets and had an infection in my gums, after that this girl from the front named Priscilla comes in to talk to me about how much my insurance will cover and what I am responsible for & it was hundreds of dollars after that they advised me that I had gum disease & needed deep cleaning & so on, then they said I need gum grafting which they made it seem like it my teeth were in very bad health. I went there for about 4 deep cleanings and every time they wanted to charge an outrage amount. So what I did was I would pay and the next day I would call my insurance they would tell me they over charged me, my insurance would call their office to straighten this matter out, then Priscilla would call me back just to ask me if I wanted to keep my extra money on file for future services I would always tell her no, I want my money back to my care credit. As you can see the frustration this caused me, I think you should GO somewhere else. There office manager is VERY rude!! I can't remember her name. I also remember when I was checking out this little old lady was being over charged and didn't understand why her insurance wasn't covering it. They also like to charge before your seen so read what you're signing in the beginning which I refused. to leave a card on file. I expect to pay for my services at the time of service. This nightmare was in 2022 and since then the dentist that I am with now has told me that I don't have any problems and also to just clear my doubts I did go for a periodontics consult for gum recession and told me that my gums were healthy and wasn't sure why I was so concerned in needing a gum grafting. Byrd dental group should be ashamed for charging unnecessary procedures and pushing to buy products that people with healthy practices don't need to spend but whatever to each its own.

Terrible experience. One star is far too generous.

I recently switched to this dentist. Very easy transition. This office isn't one of those that wants you ton spend thousands and offer financing. Good switch.

I have never before had a "used car" experience at a dental office until I went to Dr. Byrd. His dental staff are pushy and rude. I sat there while they told others in nearby chairs, (like me) that we all have Periodontal disease (the latest money maker for dentists). They become belligerent if you disagree. I got a second opinion from a Periodontist, no gum disease; in fact very healthy gums. Keep in mind that their staff write the glorious reviews you read, and only true patients write the truth. Don't go there.

I have dental coverage of my own and I am covered under my husbands plan....I was incorrectly instructed how to complete the form for my secondary insurance by the lady in the front office... causing the check to come to the dental office and not me...I was told the overage on my on my account was from a declined credit card... WHAT? I was then told the business office would refund my money in 2 to 4 weeks..WHAT? still dont have my money.... PS I was also told I have periodontal disease....I have been a patient of Dr Byrd for over 10 years and it has not been until recently that I have experienced the poor quality of service given by the new office employees... all the previous people I have known for years are gone...

Running a scam, if you don't agree or consent to perio cleaning they will refuse to see you regularly. Another Dentist confirmed I do not have periodontal disease! Scam!!! Finding a better Dentist (that should be easy).

Dr. hwang, the endodontist, was amazingly honest, caring, and professional. He treated both myself and my husband. He did not try to "sell" us on doing more than what was needed. Totally impressed. He did an excellent job with no pain!! Yeah!! The staff was very caring and helpful... Very willing to work with us on scheduling and costs.
