This office is a SCAM of unnecessary treatments. I have always been consistent with the health of my teeth. Switching jobs means switching insurances so I picked this one that was the closest to my area. When I went JUST for a routine cleaning, they had exam me and right off the bat they said I had deep pockets and had an infection in my gums, after that this girl from the front named Priscilla comes in to talk to me about how much my insurance will cover and what I am responsible for & it was hundreds of dollars after that they advised me that I had gum disease & needed deep cleaning & so on, then they said I need gum grafting which they made it seem like it my teeth were in very bad health. I went there for about 4 deep cleanings and every time they wanted to charge an outrage amount. So what I did was I would pay and the next day I would call my insurance they would tell me they over charged me, my insurance would call their office to straighten this matter out, then Priscilla would call me back just to ask me if I wanted to keep my extra money on file for future services I would always tell her no, I want my money back to my care credit. As you can see the frustration this caused me, I think you should GO somewhere else. There office manager is VERY rude!! I can't remember her name. I also remember when I was checking out this little old lady was being over charged and didn't understand why her insurance wasn't covering it. They also like to charge before your seen so read what you're signing in the beginning which I refused. to leave a card on file. I expect to pay for my services at the time of service. This nightmare was in 2022 and since then the dentist that I am with now has told me that I don't have any problems and also to just clear my doubts I did go for a periodontics consult for gum recession and told me that my gums were healthy and wasn't sure why I was so concerned in needing a gum grafting. Byrd dental group should be ashamed for charging unnecessary procedures and pushing to buy products that people with healthy practices don't need to spend but whatever to each its own.
