Don’t go here. It’s not worth the aggravation from every aspect of the experience. I wasn’t given prep instructions for a procedure, so did not premedicate and experienced the worst pain I’ve ever had. This was Nancy’s fault, the assistant, who is very difficult and unhelpful to the point of belligerence. On the phone once she said she couldn’t answer my questions because her desk was not conducive to conversation. What does that even mean? Aren’t phone calls part of the job? When I asked Dr. Burgess the mechanisms of a particular medication she sighed and said, “To make you feel better.” She requested medical clearance from my PCP, then wouldn’t accept it and bullied his office with five phone calls. I had difficulty getting an appointment, so scheduled a year in advance. Dr. Burgess cancelled the appointment and when I couldn’t get a timely reschedule she returned my message and chastised me for not planning ahead and scheduling a year in advance like she does for her annuals. I said, “I did. You cancelled. And when I tried to reschedule the front desk staff said they NO openings. NONE.” I’m confused how a scheduler schedules with no open appointments? I’m not sure of her actual knowledge rating because the procedure she recommended for me contradicted what she told me initially. I think the practice is institutionally driven, not individual patient driven.

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Burgess, she was very nice, answered all of my questions, very patient, and on time. Great bedside manner, gave me some suggestions to help with my sleep issues..

I have seen Dr. Burgess 3 times now and so far have been very pleased. I feel very comfortable talking to her and I feel like she is very compassionate. I look forward to working with her and her staff in the near future.

I AGREE WITH THE HORRENDOUS RATINGS BELOW. Katie Burgess is AWFUL. And her assistant, Nancy, is the nastiest, most condescending witch (should start with a B, but I'll be polite) that I have ever met in a medical profession. They were rude, they did not properly examine my daughter, and rushed us out without answering any questions or concerns about the reason for the visit. Nine days after the visit, which we were fully charged for, even though she did not examine my daughter whatsoever, we ended up in the Emergency Room with a 4CM ruptured ovarian cyst. Had my daughter lost the ovary, she would never be able to have children. She and her god awful, rude, pretentious assistant Nancy, should be avoided at all costs. And as far as my rating of ONE for punctuality....they asked us to come in 1/2 hour early to fill out the paperwork, so we did. My daughter was brought in twenty minutes early, and therefore, the family/health history was not complete. Had she taken the time to hear our history, or even meet me, the patients mother, she might have learned my history of cysts and perhaps checked my daughter/.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. not only is her assistant rude but so is she! one of the worst doctors i ever went to in my life. I do NOT suggest anyone to go to her unless you would like to be misdiagnosed and end up in the hospital. she rushed me out of her office..i spent more time waiting in the office than actually seeing the doctor. The next day ended up in the ER. Horrible office management and horrible doctor.

Aweful. Couldn't answer my questions and was judemental about my situation. Made me feel extremely uncomfortable and argued over what my insurance would; and wouldn't cover (which she was wrong about). Horrible doctor. Will never go back.

I would like to take the time to compliment Dr. Burgess on her outstanding performance. I recently had a hysterectomy and was extremely pleased with the excellent care I received. Dr. Burgess has an excellent bedside manner, she is very patient, and thoroughly explained the procedure beforehand. She answered all of my questions and put my worries at ease. After surgery, she (as well as all the nurses on the birthing floor) were very attentive to my needs. Without any hesitation, I would recommend Dr. Burgess.

Dr. Burgess has been more than a Doctor to me, she has comforted me on a personal level which is almost impossible to find these days since the medical field has become a business. I never had medical issues EVER...so now I am in uncharted waters and it can be extremely scary. I feel like she truly cares about me and the well being of my life and my family. (every mom knows that if mom is not healthy....the family can suffer). I can't say enough about her. I have a lot of questions (because I recently started taking medication) and she (nor her nurse)never make me feel like I'm annoying. It's so hard to find a doctor who is competent with a great bed side manner....here's a winner!
