I saw this doctor years ago before I knew about looking up reviews online. She was not helpful for me and I finally stopped seeing her after trying to get help for my chronic and painful condition for months. She just wasn't helpful, I couldn't get any medications to help ease my symptoms and she couldn't give me a proper diagnosis to my symptoms. The nurses here we no help when you called the office at all. I have since found a doctor who did understand what I have and how to deal with it.

I just got a call today from her office just to make sure I was doing OK on the new medication. She is very patient and when she is not available, there is an urgent care right in the same building along with many other SwedishAmerican clinics throughout Rockford. There has never been a time that I could not see a doctor in that clinic the same day if need; nor, have I ever had to wait for more than a day to schedule an appointment with Dr. Bowin.

This practice is unbelievable. They have no emergency contact number, do not return phone calls within a reasonable 3-4 hours or even same day, consider yourself lucky if they even return your calls at 24 hours and she seems to prefer tests over logical treatment.
