I had my daughter 23 years ago and still view this experience as one of the worst I have had with a doctor in my thirty career as a nurse. He was extermely unhelpful and at one point told me not to make any noise while I was giving birth. I did not appreciate his unattached demeanor and he did not seem to care about my experience at all. I would highly recommend not to go to this doctor.

Totally incredible! We started with midwives and a plan for homebirth. After laboring for 30 hours at home, we decided to transfer to hospital, seeking pain relief. Upon exam, we found our baby to be in a asynclitic, posterior position. It became clear that vaccuum, forceps or c-section were the only option. Finally, after 45 hrs of labor, Dr. Dyson saved the day, using his magnificent vaccuum skills to avoid c-section. He stopped by the next day to check on us, and set up a 4 week appointment, "free-of-charge." He was a pro and we strongly recommend him!

I had Dr. Dyson as my ob/gyn a number of years ago.I found him to be a brilliant man and spot on with his instincts. He delivered my first child, a 24 hour induction with a successful c-section. My second child was a very complicated delivery and his care for me was both professional and compassionate. I don't think I ever felt as safe as I did in his competent hands. For those of you who are looking for a best friend to deliver your child, keep looking. This guy is a brilliant physician with good instincts and I'll take him any day! Keep up the great work, Dr. Dyson.I haven't found anyone close to your level of competency since I left Portland eighteen years ago!

Dr. Dyson has been my dr. for the last 17 years and I love him. He has delivered my two babies (now 14 & 11) and has always been super kind and helpful. I was so surprised to see all the negative reviews. My only issue is sometimes the wait is a little long but I've learned to dodge that one by getting his first appt. in the morning or right after lunch. Anyway I think he is warm, understanding and a great communicator and will continue to go to him until he finally retires.

I went to this doctor to have a colposcopy done, and not only did I have to wait a hour and half after my set time but the doctor... I don't even know what to say. He came in, and got to work without letting me know really anything he was doing. Didn't really say much to me and left when he was done. I have now had 4 colposcopies done and not one of them compaired to the pain I had that day. I left trying to hold back crying and the feeling of passing out when I was done. Also this appointment was in 7/2009 and the billing dept over there has still not figured out everything with my billing almosta year later. I have another appointment at this office, but requested a different doctor this time and if she is at all like this doctor I will be switching facilities. SO I'm keeping my fingers crossed for next weeks appointment!

He is so rude, doesn't care about my high risk pregnancy, all of the staffs there are rude. Every time when I went to his clinic, I had to wait for about 40mins or more, and he showed up, rushed every time, and didn't answer the questions which I want to know. I would not recommend this doctor. I will switch to another Dr. for my next pregnancy.

I know alot of people don't like him but I feel that he would tell me the truth when I was pregnant. When I stated having complications with my 2nd pregnancy he didn't beat around the bush. He told me everything that was wrong and what I needed to do.

I switched doctors when I was close to 6 months pregnant because I had had enough of this doctor's rude and condescending attitude towards me. He never acknowledged me, spoke about me rather than to me in other people's company, his office staff were equally rude. I decided that pregnancy should be a happy time, not leave you with a feeling of dread every time you had to go to the doctor's office. I am SO happy I did not let this man deliver my baby. He also called my home after I left and was (surprise, surprise) very rude. He questioned me and was angry. I wish I would have had the guts back then to tell him the real reason I left, but I was very young. Based on the other reviews, I see that I was not alone. What a jerk.

AWFUL AWFUL hospitality. I had the WORST delivery experience with this man, he did not once talk with me, instead pretending I wasnt there talking to the nurses about ME! Did not follow my labor plan. Used unecessary tools on my newborn that caused defects, treated me like he didn't want to be there, and rushed through procedures without caution. Overall, worst dr experience EVER. I would never recommend him to anyone.
