I've been going to Dr. Gammer for eight years and he has proven to be a fantastic diagnostician that you would think he was an internist also. He will readily refer you to a specialist if it is better unlike some doctors who try to treat for everything even though they may not be qualified in that field. He recently diagnosed a melanoma for my friend. My friend didn't even go in there for that but Dr. Gammer found it. He referred him for special surgery and he is doing well. His staff is wonderful and if he runs late there is a good reason. He's one of the few doctors who takes time to figure out your problem.

I went to another dermatologist for 25 years, but when I went to Dr. Gammer, he took the time to analyze a problem and cured the situation. For that I am very grateful. He really knows his stuff, and unlike other reviews, I have not had to wait long periods.

I've been going to Dr. Gammer for many years for various problems. On my last visit I inquired about Botox for migraine and he said it may work but first get evaluated by a nuerologist since I've been battling migraines for twenty years. The only Dr. not to blow off my headaches as several have in the past. Went in for evaluation and I've been on medication that has made me headache free!! Appreciate the fact that he didn't try to plug Botox as a "cure" or quick fix. Also a great skin doctor - he removed a growth on my nose and had No Scarring from it. Staff is also very pleasant.

I went in on a Monday afternoon. The doctor was very busy, so I didn't end up getting seen until 25 minutes after my appointment. Aside this small issue, my overall experience was very good. Dr. Gammer and his staff were very professional and friendly. I even ended up leaving my credit behind on accident and the receptionist called and said she'd put it in the safe for me until I could come back and pick it up. In the end I was able to get three broken capillaries treated for a reasonable price, which includes a follow-up appointment for a recheck and another treatment if they don't clear up. Dr. Gammer may not be the most chatty doctor out there, but he certainly is competent and skilled at what he does. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good doctor with affordable prices.

As an RN, I think this MD is one of the best dermatological patho specialists in So Cal. I have NEVER been taken in late and have NEVER been refused when I had an urgent matter. He can seem a bit cold at first, but he will warm up to you. He is very intelligent and a heavy "thinker". He does not try to heavy sell you on cosmetic procedures because patho is his specialty. However, nobody will beat his price on Botox. Absolutely love the staff.

He saved my neighbor's life. He was diagnosed with melamoma when he only went in for something minor. Dr. Gammer did a full body check up and found it. He removed it and referred him for more extensive surgery. He is my doctor too and I feel that he is a fantastic and thorough diagnostician and dermatologist.

Idiot. A few months after having twins, I went in due to skin peeling and bleeding on my palms. He told me to not wash my hands more than twice a day, gave me some old ditto printout of dry hand help. I had three kids in diapers at the time...yea Ok I'll just stop washing my hands. didn't look at my skin for more than a second. Felt like I was holding him back from lunch or something. Crappy office. Don't waste your time.

This doctor was unhelpful, and not friendly at all. On my first visit, he walked in - didn't introduce himself, and asked me why i was there. When I told him I had warts that needed to be removed, he said "that's weird, you shouldn't have warts at your age". Just what someone wants to hear in a doctor's office - that they are weird. He then took my hand, circled the areas with a pen, then proceeded to pull out a blow torch looking device and spraying what felt like liquid fire on my hands. I later found out from someone else that it was liquid nitrogen, but some warning would have been appreciated. He then told me to come back in 3 weeks and walked out of the office. I waited a few minutes to see if he was coming back, and he didn't. I left, and will NEVER go back. Oh, and by the way, all this pleasant interaction happened after waiting for 45 minutes in the lobby.
