I've been a patient several years and have yet to meet Dr. Abbasi. Alliance Family Care, was the only practice accepting our Medicare Advantage plan when we moved to Covington, GA several years ago. We feel stuck with the ho-hum, it's a job, so what attitude that permeates the place. The look of the place, lack of maintenance, upkeep of the physical structure, and clutter in patient access places mirrors the overall staff attitude. Communication is difficult, web presence is hardly functional, and they do not acknowledge patient concerns. The practice is in dire need of a multi-faceted boost. Once, at the beginning of the Covid-19 event, I waited in the parking lot for my wife to complete her appointment. It was a hot May morning, when a worker arrived and beeped her horn to get my attention. She shouted at me, insisting that I move my car out of her private parking space (the only shady one). There was no sign or indication the space was reserved, and she did not bother to say thanks when I did move. I bet that was a pleasant day at work! Unfortunately, she is the office manager, and the entire practice is dragged down by her attitude.

I have seen Dr Abbasi for over 10 years. He has always been a good doctor. There has been a change in the way the office staff handles appointments and calls. There has also been a bad change in Dr Abbasi’s compassion and attention to me as a patient. Calls are never returned and I feel like just a number to him now.

A concerned, knowledgeable, and caring doctor. He listens and explains. You know when you leave you have received the best care possible.

Best doctor in the area, period! I was urinating 6 to 7 times in an hour. I had been going to several doctors in the area and no one could help me. Doctor Abbasi found a tumor in my brain in a timely fashion. He saved my life.

Dr Abbasi is good as long as you dont ask a question he feel is questioning him. If you tell him you don't understand his assesment he will yell at you that he is the doctor and has been a doctor for 16 years and knows what he is talking about dont question him. He even went as far as yelling down his office hallway to a patient, that they should be in a "straight jacket", as the paitent was leaving in tears.

I trust Dr. Abbasi with all healthcare needs of my family. My grandfather was so ill that we had to take him to several doctors. We lost hope and finaly we met Dr. Abbasi. After one look at his blood test, he determined that my grandfather had a tumor in his adrenal gland.After removal of this gland, he was like a new man. Dr. Abbasi is a part of our family.
