My mother stayed here after a stroke in Nov. 2012. She was moved to a private room from ICU when I put DNR in place, as she was 91. I found the nursing staff & doctors exceptional, both in her care, & explaining what to expect. Of course I spent 10-11 hr there every day, so I was there to confer with staff. She was there for 10 days, & then moved to rehab next door. Even though it was inconvenient for us to be so far from home (Syracuse), I was very happy with the care that she received there, very dedicated staff. Sadly, she passed away 4 months after the stroke.

I am here five days and still laying on the same sheets. What does that tell you about a place with 500 layoffs?

Worst place ever. Horrible patient care and supervision. Staff has minimal compassion but high egos. Patient advocacy services are none existent. Worst hospital ever stay far away.

Hospital staff made so many mistakes that a stay that would normally be 5 days turned in to 10! Surgeon was SO angry about it that he went to the hospital "chiefs" and saw to it that I didn't have to pay a single penny out of pocket.
