11/09/13 5 5 1 1 I went to the ER at the hospital and it was terrible. The staff was in a hurry to get me out of there because it was time for them to go home. The PA had no idea what was wrong with me and sent me home with 3 prescriptions. None of which helped. I got a lot sicker the next couple of days and had to go somewhere else and pay again for someone who could actually help. And for this service they charged me $1000. Do NOT ever use their ER.

09/08/13 5 5 3 5 I had surgery at Northside Hospital on July 31,2013. My surgery was a planned surgery on the third floor. I arrived and was taken back to a room to be prepped for surgery. Every person that I encountered in the pre-op area and the recovery area after surgery was incredibly kind and helpful. I was kept overnight and given a room on the third floor. My day nurse was named Anna, and she was absolutely wonderful! She came as soon as I called for her, and she was very quick to get me anything I needed. When we had a little trouble managing my pain, she did everything she could until it was fixed. When the night nurses came on, there weren't enough patients, so they sent all the nurses home except one, Peggy. Unfortunately, she was not what I hoped for. As soon as she came in to my room, she gave me a horrible attitude. The rest of the night she was very slow to respond, and didn't come in my room unless I called. All and all my experience was very good, with the exception of the one nurse.

06/10/11 5 5 5 5 The very BEST hospital I've ever been in. Even the food servers and maids were extremely friendly. The nurses were outstanding. I'll never go to another hospital again except Northside.
