I had to wait two months for an appointment with neurology for a rare nerve condition I have, of which I've already had surgery for prior to going to mass general. When I finally saw the neurologist, he ignored all my MRI's and prior EMG testing and told me there was nothing wrong with me when I have severe nerve pain with multiple nerves involved from an accident. I was dismissed right out of his office. Also, when I went in the exam room he told me to sit on the exam table and the paper was all wrinkled and used from the prior patient without being changed. Gross. The bathrooms were pretty gross too. Pain management center isn't much better. I had an allergic reaction to medication and called the MGH pain center for TWO months before I got an answer from the doctor, and it wasn't even a direct contact it was through a nurse there. My advice? Go to another hospital if you have complex health issues. MGH is too big and too busy to care.

* Service, I gave service a low rating because. 7/27/2013. came to pick up my mother. was told that there was an emergency and that discharges were backed up. I arrived at the Hospital at 10:15 AM, at 11:32 AM still waiting. If an emergency puts them that far behind would hate to see what would happen in a real emergency. Would have been nice if someone came around and at least acknowledge us.
