HORRIBLE!! After going to the ER and being gaslighted by the dr. on why I was there, I relaized the paperwork was incorrect! If they couldn't even get the dates and reason correct for why I was there how the heck are they supposed to treat me properly??! It has been 6 months that I've waited for my "amended" paperwork only for me to get the same exact paperwork back! Not corrected! But bet your bottom they sure are looking for payment and with little to no assistance trying to work with me on a payment arrangement while I STILL WAIT on the CORRECT paperwork. I was better off staying home and working through my health issues than going to this facility. Sad and dissapointing to see how little people know and care in these places to actually help people. It is just another job for them and it shows by their lack of detail and care to actually listen to their patients enough to get correct information.

Delivered both of my children here, most recently my second daughter was delivered here a couple days ago, and while they are great as far as the actual procedure and doctors, the events that follow once you are in their care is a nightmare and will outright put your own health and wellness in jeopardy. I’ll just shoot you straight, don’t expect to get any sleep because they will treat you and your spouse like a revolving door (I have slept for a collective 7 hours in the 4 nights now I stayed here total), they invited a contractor photographer into our suite who pressured my wife to sign the rights to over 100 images of our child away while I wasn’t even there and my wife was sick throwing up and on a heavy cocktail of drugs and didn’t even know what she was doing as she flashed my daughter on the first picture and then denied to give my wife the “free image” she was verbally promised to get her to allow this to take place (this happened with their weird little photographer partnership with Mom365), certain nurses will guilt trip you or show visible signs of frustration when asking for your child to go to the nursery for some much needed rest (we have a toddler at home as well and wanted to show up happy and rested, we got the opposite thanks to the staff we are currently taking shifts because we aren’t comfortable sending her back there again), the temperament and competence of staff will change every shift change and most of the night shift will give you attitude or have such thick accents you can’t understand what they are even saying, the rooms are run down (plumbing issues, lights not dimming, thermostats busted causing rooms to get too hot/cold but never just right, my wife threw up from heat the first 5 mins I then room because it was 76 then we couldn’t get it up past 70 at night to sleep, didn’t realize 72 was such a hard thing to achieve?), the suites are like closet sized and don’t comfortably fit more than about 5 people without suffocating everyone, the couch in the room is like laying on a wooden plank, just an awful awful experience postpartum. We loved Sarah, that’s about all e can see good about our back end experience at Holmes Regional. Can’t wait to be home tomorrow (assuming they actually let us leave on time, they kept us 4 hours over when they told us we could go last time, quite literally sat with straight As on the go home home checklist for hours while they made us just sit and wait) DO BETTER!!!

Lived in this area since 1976, I have seen a lot of changes, I really dread going to Holmes Regional in Melbourne Florida when I need to visit the ER, always at least a 4 hr wait when there busy, but today I had the worst experience and care of any Doctor that has worked there, I was concerned about some swelling in my face and my right eye acting up, I get there and they weren’t busy at all, I see a Doctor on staff there that was young and cocky to say the least, he asked me a few questions and then proceeded to ask me if I had a picture he could see yo compare the swelling from before and now, I told him I didn’t have one and that my face feels funny, he says, you don’t have a fever so you probably have no infection, how would he know, no one bothered to take my temperature at all, then he tells me to go see my primary and asked me if I want a prescription of steroids, but then proceeded to tell me they don’t really like to give a script to people because of the long term side effects when you get older, I told him I would like one so he wrote it out, gave it to me and released me in 30 minutes etc. he never took any bloodwork, which is a first for this hospital to see if there’s any infection at all in my body, no X-rays absolutely nothing, what a waste of my time, I don’t know where they get some of these Doctors that work in the ER, but it’s a joke with most of them on your medical care, I’ve been misdiagnosed and almost released in 3019 when I was so I’ll I knew something was wrong so I asked for the results of all my test they ran, sure enough I was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast cancer, which if I jaded insisted that I wasn’t leaving and there’s something seriously wrong they were sending me home, well they gave me 9 months to live,,3 Doctors, well guess what I’m still alive today in 2023 , the people here in Brevard have not much of a choice since Health First had taken over Brevard County area so we are in a situation we have to use them or leave the area , we are stuck, now I’m not saying all Doctors are bad in the HF system but this area seems to be lacking advanced specialized Doctors in certain fields and the ER needs a better system then it has on the waiting time when people are so sick and having to wait 4 hrs or longer before releasing them if not keeping them !

Today was horrible. My father had a friend call 911. He has dementia and is hard of hearing. I am usually with him but in NJ for other reasons. He has a care giver but she didn't come today because he told her someone else would be there. They weren't. I tried 9 times to get through to the emergency they said they would hook me up and there was no operater to answer and just hang up. I finally called his primary then they answered. Done with Holmes wouldn't take my dog there. Be careful they are not looking out for the patients and family. I am furious and I'm not done. I'm calling the primary tomorrow and see if there's anything I can do for neglect.

Here for 4 hours with a 7 year old with a head and neck injury worst visit possible just way understaffed instead of worrying about labor cost they should hire more staff to take care of the overflow of patients it's ridiculous to make a7 year old to wait until 11

Dr. Beatriz M Pirazzi was absolutely awful. She was unconcerned with chest pain due to electrolyte disturbances and blamed everything on anxiety. She was rude and I only hope she gets fired for her incompetence and terrible attitude. Absolutely zero bedside manner and truly a terrible person.

This hospitals peds doctor traumatized and drugged my 6 year old epileptic child on the autism spectrum all because he was so incompetent that he thought an epileptic having a 30 second seizure was an emergency that required her to be life flighted to nemours after I said no and drugged so she wouldn't be a problem in the flight when I said no.

Food is terrible. We’ve had issues getting info out of case management. It’s not the worst experience but also not the best.
