This ER causes significant damage to me. I had a hysterectomy May 16th 2022. On May 30th I found myself at the LV Stabler ER hemorrhaging. I was placed in a room that was used for storage. The nurse triaged me. I told her what was happening. That I had a hysterectomy May16th and today I started bleeding and now I am passing large clots and my GYN said to get to a ER asap. People coming in and out. I’m bleeding down my leg, all over, passing massive clots. My clothes soaked in blood. I was alone for an hour or more just sitting there. No IV, no blanket, no change of clothes before the DR came in. He asks me if I hurt my arm seeing my tattoo. I told him exactly what I told the nurse. “I had a hysterectomy 2 weeks ago my family and I drove down to Navarre. I sat and watched my kids play and when we were leaving began bleeding. Trying to get back home I began passing large clots and my GYN said to get to an ER.” He said “hmmm okay…….” Orders an MRI of my stomach and tells me “I cant seem to find your uterus.” Now after telling people I had a hysterectomy to hear those words was alarming. I continued to sit in my own blood for 8 hours. Soaking through bed pads. I went to the bathroom and passed a clot the size of a squash and when I went out the doctor said “why didn’t you take a picture? Now we have to wait for another.” I was never told to take a picture. I was told a GYN would be coming in - so I wait hours for one. He then transfers me to another room. Has a female in the room who admits to not even know why she’s there - and he begins a female exam. He asks me to hold the speculum while he digs at my wound and I can feel the blood flowing out. He says “oh wow yeah you are bleeding bad….” Stops what he’s doing and tells this woman to clean me up and check my BP - she didn’t know how to work the machine so she had to call someone else there. I FINALLY AFTER 6-7 hours got a pad and got to change my clothes. And hour after that I’m given an IV and being transferred to my hospital at brookwood. On the way to the hospital in the ambulance I am taken to the wrong hospital- I had to redirect the driver. Then they took me to every wrong door. I ended up losing consciousness twice. I have never felt more in fear for my life. There is so much more I could say. But this hospital has NOT take accountability. I now suffer with low iron, getting infusions, had to quit my job due to how sick I got, and have PTSD of going to appts. My GYN was so upset and disturbed when she found out. She witnessed a pull on panic attack coming in for a check. Do NOT go to this hospital!!
