:( Click to report rating *  5/17/09 5 1 1 I had the misfourtain of having to see Dr. Jordon in emerg. Will never stay there or go there if he is on AGAIN ! Lousy doctor who does not listen, just likes to hear himself talk.Told me the specialist was wrong. I got up and left and did not let him treat me.

:( Click to report rating *  4/13/09 1 1 1 This dr. is an idiot. I had to go to emerg to get perscriptions refilled. The nurse sid my B/P was quite high. 179/126 She said Dr Jordan would check it> When he finally came into the room he handed me my perscription and turned and walked out. I called his name and was ignored. Two months later I found out I had a heart attack. I was only 47 at the time. THANKS DR JORDEN for almost killing me. I always leave when I find out he is the emerg Dr. I will go to either NL or Matheson.

:( Click to report rating *  8/22/08 1 1 1 This guy, I'm not even going to call him a doctor because he doesn't deserve the credentials, treated a family member many years ago for alcoholism. We kept going to him for help and he kept telling us that he would just have to quit drinking cold turkey. The patient kept trying and eventually died from effects of withdrawls. Not once did this so-called doctor offer any meds to help with withdrawls or even try to help us find a rehab centre. None of us had any idea there was medication to help with withdrawls and none of us knew you could die from withdrawls if you simply quit cold turkey after years of being an alcoholic. If he would have pulled his head out of his ass for one second and offered up some actual medical advice, our beloved family member may still be alive. Nothing against KL but I think he's hiding there because no other town, city or hospital would have him. AND THE PEOPLE ON HERE GIVING HIM A GOOD RATING, THEY PROBABLY DON'T EXIST, HE'S PROBABLY RATING HIMSELF!!!

:( Click to report rating    4/26/08 1 1 1 Dr.Jordan should be sitting at home right now while being under investigation. When i was pregnant he was an ok dr but while in labor he was a crappy Dr.He sat in the corner and waited for the head to be out before he finally decided to come do his job.He doesnt give a crap about those in need all he wants is the salary. The review board should grow a set of balls and fire him before more innocent people die!!!!

:( Click to report rating    4/8/08 1 1 1 Useless, rude, and over-medicates everyone. He shouldn't be allowed to treat people.

:( Click to report rating    3/23/08 1 1 1 From experiences I've had myself, he was horrible. He didn't listen to a word I had to say nor did he care. He just looked at me with that blank WTF look on his face like he doesn't understand or care about anything I was saying, and that I was wasting his precious day dreaming time. LADIES BEWARE! He's not allowed to do any kind of prenatal care right now. Did they finally see the trail of death behind of him? MOST IMPORTANTLY, WHY DID IT HAVE TO TAKE ONE WOMAN TO LOSE 2 BABIES AT HIS HANDS BEFORE THEY STOPPED HIM FROM?? How is this fair to the poor family that's had to go through this not only once, but TWICE?!? Is it b/c we live in the north and to the south we're just second class citizens and it doesn't matter how we're treated, we should just be happy we have doctors? I fear for what is going to have to happen in order for them to finally take away his license for good. Take care my fellow KL'ers and good luck with your emergency room visits.

:( Click to report rating    3/14/08 1 1 1 dr jordan likes to play god. he decided to do against what the specialist said and inturn my infant cousin died because of his many mistakes. if you are having a baby go to someone else that way they'll have a reasonable chance to survive.

:( Click to report rating    3/8/08 1 3 1 Shameful that people have to put their trust in a madman. His "franken-stoic" bias towards people that he doesn't consider human is shocking and highly perverse. He is the prime example of what is wrong with the Canadian health system. We will not allow foreign doctors to come practice here. Therefore,we are here in Northern Ontario with one choice, having to deal with a ****. This criminal has no right to be messing with anyone's life and for the record he nearly killed me.

:( Click to report rating    1/1/08 1 1 1 Very uncaring, has no time or concern for patients. I also would trust my Veterinarian more than him. Don't understand why he still has a licence to practice.

:( Click to report rating    9/30/07 1 1 1 I Do not trust in Dr.Jordan at all. I wont even get into my story, however I find this man lacks in his personality as much as he lacks in his judgment. I really wish this town (Kirkland Lake) would pressure our municipal Officials to set up some kind of incentive monies or programs for our hospital to secure Doctors that will actually help us when we need help. We deserve it pay for it.

:( Click to report rating    8/19/07 1 1 1 This doctor has been in the public eye for several years. The courts have characteristically ruled that "silence constitutes concealment". The numerous internet postings on this doctor are now and have been a matter of public record for quite some time. http://www.geocities.com/target_injustice/DoctorsExposed.HTM

:( Click to report rating    7/7/07 1 1 1 This doctor ordered my wife's death in the year 2000 to cover-up a whole chain of medical negligence. I have been on his case ever since and to this day he has remained silent. He is a sinister doctor with a history of wrongdoing who so happens to have friends in high places. Pass it on for what its worth.

:( Click to report rating    7/6/07 1 1 1 What is wrong with the medical review board, can't they hear what people are telling them.Do they ever check on quacks like this and how did this guy ever get a licence to practice medicine. I certainly feel for the people as well as myself who leaves, when he is on, his nurse sharon tells me what kind of person this man hires. She should of been fired from her last job. Alot of miners fell do to her dippy ways. What a great team, I would rather go to our vet instead. I know we are hardup for drs. but come on we can do better with student drs. They do not kill you do lack of knowledge, pregnant women cannot fool him as they have a budge in their belly. pretty hard to miss!

:( Click to report rating    6/12/07 1 1 I don't know anyone who will stay at emerg if they find out that Dr. Jordan is there. Not one has had a good experience when seeing him, and usually you have to go back to see someone else. He does not listen to you nor does he care to.He is the worst doctor ever and his license should be revoked!!!

:( Click to report rating    6/7/07 2 1 Doesn't know his limitations as a General Practioner. Very uncaring, shouldn't be a doctor. Refuses to consult with specialist and puts his ego in front of his patient's well-being. Told a family member that there was no treatment for her gout; she seen another doctor and received the treatment she desparately needed. (was in a wheelchair and couldn't walk due to the gout pain when she seen Jordon). Family member went to the hospital twice in one week for chest pains and he did not treat her underlying cause or consult with her cardiologist. Told her she would be wasting her time if she went to her specialist. The third time she went to the hospital, she was thankfully seen by another doctor. Was flown to Sudbury immediately for heart surgury. Would have died waiting for Jordan to diagnose or consult. I truly believe that he has no respect or dignity for the elderly. If you have an elderly family member that needs treatment from Dr. Jordan, be there to advocate on their behalf.

:( Click to report rating *  5/16/07 1 1 I went to this QUACK for a very sore foot and was told my winter boots weren,t good enough. Went to another Dr. and found out I had gout. He should not be allowed to practice on people.

:) Click to report rating    5/14/07 4 5 DR. Jordan should only work with pregnant woman and children because he is exceptional in that area. He was wonderful when I was pregnant with my one and only son, very gentle and kind. When in labour he was by my side, pushing with every passing minute!! In the end I had a c-section and everything went great. Afterwards he came to see how we all were doing and he handled my son as if it was his own. I thank you Dr. Jordan for the warmth you brought to the 3 most painful days of my life!

:( Click to report rating    5/11/07 3 1 I have very bad back problems. Dr. Jordon prescribed me pills without looking at my file. It turns out these pills made my ulcers bleed and cause problems in my bowels. Now; there is a chance I might have cancer all because he didn't look at my chart. Also; a few years ago I went in for my stomach again and instead of helping me he tried flirting with me. I think he is a very unfit doctor and shouldn't be in our hospital.

:) Click to report rating    5/7/07 5 5 Personally I think Dr Jordan is a Wonderfull Doctor. He is currently my pre-Natal Physician and I DO not have a single complaint about him. He has been extremely helpful and kind throughout my entire pregnancy. When a loved one is taken away from us suddenly it hurts very much, but it is an act of nature. You cannot place the blame on any one person especially your doctor. Remember they went to Medical school not miracle School.

:( Click to report rating    4/28/07 1 1 My grandfather had an operation which got rid of the anurism in his aorta, after he came home from sudbury, he was supposed to go up to see Dr. Jordan for a follow up. When he did this he was ot feeling well(did not look well at all) and was SUPPOSED to get a blood test, but I guess Dr. Jordan didn't feel the need for it. Not a few hours after my grandfather went home he died at the age of 64. I feel that if Dr. would have given him a blood test or even looked at him, he would have known that something was wrong. It ended up that when the operation was done, as tube was placed inside him and it ended up rubbing against his bowels, and created a hole. I think that Dr. Jordan's license should be revoked, and he should not be able to practice EVER again. My grandpa was taken away from em because of you at too much of a young age.

:( Click to report rating    4/17/07 1 1 It is awfully sad to see this doctor still in practice.. He has no time for his patience, nor does he even care about them, as we are all just another number for him to submitt to OHIP>> Too many mistakes to mention!

:( Click to report rating    4/10/07 1 1 This person killed my sister-in-law, I have no doubt. Said her back pain was job related and should get other work. She died of lung cancer that was not diagnosed in time. Only in her early 50's with 4 children. She went to see him many times with the same ailments. She got the same answer and he kept sending her home. He won't be able to send her home anymore. Should be kicked out of practice.

:( Click to report rating    3/31/07 1 1 If you are looking for a wonderful Baby Doctor may I suggest Dr. Pace in New Liskeard, he is absolutely wonderful and knows what he is doing. Unfortunately Dr. Jordan will continue to practice medicine in Kirkland Lake and poor innocent people will fall into his unprofessional hands. What a crime

:( Click to report rating    3/22/07 1 1 he doens't know what he's doing...nice man outside of work...grew up just a couple streets away from him and his family, but as a doctor, he's a complete quack. He recently delivered a baby and made the mother push before she was dialated, she can no longer have children and he also neglected to tell another mother of the absense of a heartbeat in her unborn child until just before she was shipped to Timmins and District hospital to deliver a still born child. Very neglectful and does not know how to properly diagnose a patient, almost let my step dad die after a fall that broke open his skull and caused massive internal bleeding, he left the ER and they were forced to call in another doctor shortly after my step dad arrived...he should not be working anymore. I whole heartedly support and agree with the man who lost his wife...if I can help, i most certainly will.

:( Click to report rating    3/22/07 3 2 Is friendly but seems to not really care about the needs of the patient. Diagnoses without testing and never double checks his diagnosis.

:( Click to report rating    3/16/07 1 1 My daughter had a reaction to eye mekeup resulting in a stye secondary to blepharitis of the eye lid. She went to the emerge and Dr. Jordan was on. He was very reluctant to prescrime an antibiotic eye ointment. He insisted it was an ear infection. How does a family doctor diagnostically confuse an eye infection with an ear infection?

:( Click to report rating    3/14/07 3 1 I was told by Dr. Jordan that my irregular pulse was all in my head, (he didn't feel my pulse nor did he hook me up to an ECG) Later I was diagnosed by a cardiologist as having benign but very frequent PVCs (every 3rd beat)

:( Click to report rating    3/13/07 3 1 This "doctor" is unwilling to explain reasons for diagnosis and treatment likely because he is unable. The most recent "Jordan diagnosis" was a couple of weeks ago when a friend was told her deteriorating knee problem was caused by drinking too much water. She has been seeing a specialist about this and is waiting for surgery. She was looking for temporary relief and no, cutting back on the water didn't help. And btw. when doctor Jordan recommends you chew advil for migraines, don't do it. It can cause severe burns to the oral mucosa.

:( Click to report rating    1/14/07 3 1 5 years ago I ended up in Emergency. I was in the most pain I ever was (I gave birth to 3 kids naturally with no pain killers gas or anything) He said I was constapated and then sent me home, the next day it was worse, I went up and again he was in emergency. Again he said I was constapated and sent me home even though I begged him and told him that I could poo but not pee. Then the next morning I could not barely walk I could not stand and then, I went to emergency, Dr. Spiller was on he told me I had kidney stones and admitted me. I feel that if Dr.jord had listened to me I would not have suffered as long as I did.

:( Click to report rating    12/26/06 1 1 Does NOT care about his patients, rude and unfeeling and never takes the time to answer questions. Acts high and mighty and looks down on patients whose lifestyles don't mesh with his own beliefs. I would NEVER go to him again. (Even though it means I currently travel 2 hours to Timmins to see a doctor instead, it's better than being treated by Jordan)
