Dr Jackson is the best ENT doctor/surgeon I’ve ever had and I’ve seen my share in NY and NJ before moving to GA six years ago. He has successfully treated my stubborn sinus infections He did one sinus surgery (had two prior ones) which eliminated all my problems - no more sinus infections, no more headaches, no more sinus fatigue. I highly recommend Dr Jackson. He’s thorough, skilled and has a wonderful bedside manner.
We love Dr. Jackson. He is an excellent doctor who provides excellent care. However, the back office operations at Northside ENT are terrible. The practice in place for surgery is to charge the patient's Visa card for the deductible portion of insurance prior to the pre-op appointment. $1072 was charged to my card 2 days before my son's sinus surgery pre-operative appointment. At the pre-op appointment, Dr. Jackson determined that my son did not need surgery. That was great news. On that date, 11/25, I was told that a credit would be issued to my Visa. As of today, 12/16, no credit has been issued. I have spoken to Michelle Johnson several times in their refunds office and while Michelle has been very nice and extremely courteous, she has been unable to get my credit issued. She explained that their medical practice is owned by a large corporation and that there are many levels of approvals which must occur before a credit can be issued. I certainly understand the need for corporate controls, but three weeks is an excessive amount of time. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company satisfactorily and while I know that this will ultimately be resolved, I am very concerned about Northside ENT's ability to issue credits to patients in an efficient and timely manner. I also believe that their practice of collecting money prior to the pre-op appointment is injurious to patients. Patients should beware before handing over a credit card.
I have a challenging condition that Dr. Jackson and team are dealing with. He takes the time to discuss fully and to answer questions. His medical assistant is both good and caring.
My visit was very productive - I could hear much better. Also it was most informative regarding possible future issues.
Dr. Jackson did my 5 yr olds tonsil and adnoid surgery. He was out and in the recovery room within 45 minutes. His bed side manor is excellenent. I would definitely recommend him.
I had a sinus surgery here and it devastated my life...i am completely dysfunctional now and suffering every day of my life...having headaches everyday and having trigeminal neuralgia...my nerves were badly damages during the sinus surgery and i will never be able to recover from it...botched sinus surgery...if you care for your life never get a sinus surgery done here!!!
I have been a patient of Dr. Jackson's for 5-years; I recently needed sinus surgery. I was very fearful because I had the same surgery (w/another Dr.) 20-years ago and the pain was horrible. Dr. Jackson assured me of the new methods and reliable outcome from his procedure. He was RIGHT. He has changed my life and I am so thankful to him. Aside from this event - he simply ROCKS. No ego. He listens. He cares. His skill is outstanding.
Dr. Jackson was able to help me where other ENTs in the area could not. I would highly reccommend him.
Dr. Jackson is awesome! Can't sing his praises enough. Dr. J is attentive w/ a terrific bedside manner. He did surgery on our teen's sinuses, which were filled with infection and polyps, plus straightened out his nasal cavities and the nose itself. Son's nose looks natural and beautiful. And most importantly, he can breathe! Would highly recommend Dr. Jackson. He's terrific, plus, has a great personality. Our teen doesn't mind going to him at all.
Dr. Keith Jackson performed a tonsillectomy and a septo/rhinoplasty on me by his recommendation. I had an unusual amount of bruising, discomfort, and swelling for an excessive amount of time. In the year post-op, my nose was asymmetrical, and I had trouble breathing. It progressively got worse and looked worse over time. Dr. Jackson said nothing was wrong, but recommended another doctor if I wanted a second procedure. The second doc told me that the bridge of my nose had collapsed on top of my septum, was still deviated, and "s" shaped, completely leaning toward the left side of my face. My nose still doesn't look normal after a correctional surgery for my breathing and function. I wish had seen someone more professional to prevent all of the physical and emotional pain from the experience with Dr. Jackson. Also, his staff is TERRIBLE. They didn't give me proper surgical follow up instructions and Carol is really mean. In total, surgery actually cost me $10,000 to make it all go away.
