I was suffering from pain in my arm. Dr. Pugach scheduled me for an apt the day I contacted him. His examination was thorough resulting in him referring me for an ultrasound which confimred his intial diagnosis of a clot. Within one hour of notice of my clot Dr. Pugach had coordinated with my oncologist the medication I needed and had the medication ordered. It is very reasuring to have a doctor like Dr. Pugach who combines his medical knowledge with a sensitivity to his patient.
I love this Dr. I've stopped seeing my regular Dr. and now I go to Dr. Pugach when I'm ill. He never turns a patient away and you ALWAYS see Dr. Pugach, not just a nurse practitioner. I don't understand any of the negative reviews. I've been going to this location for two years now and I've never had a bad experience.
Made a smart decision to leave before we got ripped off. Pulling into this place, in the major ghetto, I tried not to judge a book by its cover since its a Saturday, my real doc is unavailable and I have the flu. The rate online said $85 so I told the girl there, who seemed unknowledgeable, but wore scrubs, that we had insurance and she said, "okay, your amount is $150" and I told her that was not the rate online and she told me that rate was ONLY if I paid out of pocket. I said I'll pay out of pocket, and she said "SORRY I'VE ALREADY MARKED YOU W INSURANCE. Umm, that would've been nicer to know at the beginning of payment, but that shows you the greedy perspective of that doctors office. The great thing about insurance is you can go wherever you want!! Stay away from here, unless you prefer to pay more.
This doctor ran test and saw that my cholesterol levels were high but refused to prescribe me medication. Claims that he spoke with me regarding changing my diet but did not. He raped my insurance company and refuses refills until I come in. He is not a good doctor at all.
Dr Pugach and his staff were competent, respectful. He was efficient but I did not feel rushed like I have with other physicians. I like him and his staff was good. My medical issue is common but slippery to diagnose and he got it right. I hope they keep their attitudes as they grow and they certainly will!
This place is horrible. The staff is rude and careless. What's more horrible, they lie to you, about your insurance charge, your out-of-pocket payment, etc. Will never return. They even deleted all my reviews elsewhere because I gave them a poor review. Don't get fooled if you see a high rating, they manipulated it!!
Dr. Pugach is very personable and interested in the whole picture and knowing his patients. He is focused and concerned with making sure patients are thoroughly cared for. I went for a minor problem and in the routine exam he believed I had other serious problems and took the time to pursue his beliefs and conducted tests that determine that I do have some major issues he is now treating. No other doctor I have been to has taken time to look beyond the malady I went to them for, though the issues I am now being treated for have been building over several years. I know I am well taken care of by Dr. Pugach. He takes his time to sit down in the exam room and talk with his patients in order to know and understand them, which can only help him in making the best decisions for our care. I highly recommend him and plan to keep him as my physician as long as he is practicing.
I've only been once, for sinusitis. He is just about the only walk-in doctor in Dallas. I didn't wait long at all. Everyone was nice. Since I was in for something simple, that I already had self-diagnosed, maybe it's unfair for me to say how knowledgeable, but I got what I needed and will go back and use him again.
