Biography

Dr. Addison began her pre-chiropractic education at the University of Western Ontario where she studied the sciences including inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, and biology, along with more in depth courses including physiology, anatomy, nutrition, human biomechanics, and the exercise sciences. After completing her study there, she was accepted at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario. During her four years at CMCC, courses had a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, neurology x-ray, biomechanics, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the CMCC Main Campus Chiropractic Clinic and St. John’s Rehabilitation Hospital. During her final year at CMCC she was selected to be a part of the Clinical Externship Program where she lead patient care at a specialty teaching clinic in Brampton, Ontario. After graduating in June of 2023, she decided to establish her practice in the Toronto area. In 2015 Dr. Addison founded the well-known and popular blog, ThePowerWithin. Through beginning this blog her goal is to provide educational and inspirational content to the community, as well as promote a whole-body and long lasting wellbeing. Dr. Addison has also authored five books to date. These are guided and uniquely crafted journals to aid clients as we work towards a healthier state of being.
