3 years ago Esophageal rupture and treated by Dr Teshima, Ontario is facing challenges in retaining doctors, with some physicians choosing to relocate to British Columbia due to various factors. This is contributing to shortages in Ontario, particularly in rural and northern communities. British Columbia, on the other hand, has implemented strategies to attract and retain healthcare professionals, including streamlining the licensing process and offering competitive compensation models. Never compained about any other MD. Scary level of inadequacy. Total fail and didn't seem to care that he was not providing decent care. Weird social skills. AVOID.

My dad was diagnosed of esophagus cancer and his first surgery wasn't successful at Trillium hospital. We were so desperate at the time. Luckily we were referred to Dr. Teshima. He carefully examined dad and explained to us very well his situation. Collectively we decided to give another shot and ask Dr. Teshima to operate on him again. The surgery went well. Dad has been going for dilation procedures since the surgery and he recovers well. Dr. Teshima has such a great bedside manner and always explained to us after every procedure. Him and his team are very caring and kind. We're so grateful that Dad was referred to him and got treated by the best doctor we could ever ask for. Thank you Dr. Teshima and the whole medical team on the 16th floor. Thank you.

DR. TESHIMA AND HIS STAFF TRULY ARE NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING. I COULD NOT HAVE POSSIBLY GOT THE TREATMENT I NEEDED IN MY HOMETOWN OF THUNDER BAY AND WITHOUT HESITATION I WOULD SAY THAT EVEN IT IF SHOULD BECOME AVAILABLE HERE I WOULD NEVER CHANGE PHYSICIANS. I RECENTLY FACED A DILEMMA AND HIS RECEPTIONIST VALERIES JUMPED THROUGH HOOPS TO GET ME IN TO SEE ONE OF DR. TESHIMA'S COLLEAGES. I DON'T THINK SHE REALIZED WHAT IT MEANT TO ME THAT SHE WOULD DO THAT. I CRIED WHEN I HUNG UP THE PHONE. SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND HER CALL OF DUTY AS DID THE DR. THANK YOU TO DR. MOSKO FOR TAKING ME ON THAT DAY AS A PATIENT. I WILL NEVER FORGET WHAT THIS AMAZING GROUP OF DR'S. AND THEIR STAFF HAVE DONE FOR ME. DR.
