I would NEVER go back to this doctor under any circumstance, unless you don't want to come out alive or want to be physically impaired for life after a botched colonoscopy. This Dr should have his license removed.

Waited 2 hours to be seen and when another patient in a wheel chair asked about her wait she was told that the wait wasnt any longer than normal. She had also been there two hours. The staff is rude and unhelpful. I could also overhear a complete conversation in the next room with his PA and another patient. After spending two hours waiting he rushed through the visit and offered no advice for me at all. He also alluded to my issues as being stress related and did not offer any other solutions. I had to try my own tactics and then on a follow up when I told him that I had tried Metamucel for IBS issues he was like " I guess you cured yourself." Yeah but I didn't get to keep my copay!

He was okay. His NP was better even. I went in to see him as a second opinion for gall bladder pain with no stones. He listened fairly well, explained his choice and then gave me meds which did help. He's not bad as MDs go.

Dr. Ziebert not only ignored my symptoms and never did crucial tests, he also decided that my all of my problems were psychosomatic and gave MY HUSBAND this information before he even told me his opinion, even though my file CLEARLY stated that my husband was not to be told any medical information about me at all (we were having marital problems which were only exacerbated by Dr. Zibert's actions). When I confronted him about this, he admitted it, apologized, and agreed to see me. Then his office cancelled my appointment, they refused to take my calls and their lawyer sent me a letter telling me to seek treatment outside of Austin Gastroenterology. I'm still considering suing.
