Technically excellent surgeon. Worst bed side manner I have ever, ever encountered. And I am a physician myself. But at the end of the day, he was and is an OUTSTANDING surgeon. I would refer to him. But don't expect any kindness.

Any review that seems positive and upbeat about Dr. Findlay’s personality and Demeanor is a lie and most likely added to this website by himself or his staff. “Hi I’m Dr. Findlay, I saved your life you know” is an example and word for word of what he sounds like during a second introduction. If it were the first introduction, you might have noticed him show up to perform surgery on your family member late by 5 hours. It would take that to get the blood alcohol level down, but the glossy eyes and steps backward to put a fresh air barrier between you and himself wouldn’t go un noticed. I guess you could blame the system for not having enough 300k per year brain surgeons so that there would be full cover at the OR when needed. Thy would be better than keeping a patient in an induced coma for 6 hours while there brain bleeds destroying Neural pathways while the Dr. gets a few 500.00 bottles of wine in them. And don’t ever ask Dr. Findlay if you will ever walk again, not unless you would like to see his impersonation of Quasi Moto as he awkwardly drags a leg trying to show you what you will look like. This doctor I’m sure is extreamly educated (by medical books) but defiantly lacks standards, Empathy, Core values , and other traits the average human has. Also if you are reading this good, it’s honest and accurate, but it won’t be here for long as Ratemds.com is no different than any other review site(it’s fake) they deleted my last comment and they will delete this one as well as any other that speaks real truth.

Dr. Findlay was amazing. He was gentle, kind and his staff was just as great. He did a micro vascular decompression surgery for me for a horrible case of trigeminal neuralgia that I had. Since the moment I woke up from surgery I was pain free and continue to be to this day!! Not enough good to say about this man!
