Do not go to this doctor! This is the most irresponsible doctor I have ever seen. If repeatedly hanging up on a suicidal patient is what you think of as a good doctor then by all means, go see him but if you care about the person your taking or about yourself at all, find another doctor.

Dr. Greenwald has provided me with great care. I had a hard time finding someone accepting new patients on medicaid. I am no longer on medicaid. I do not have health insurance, so the low cost of an office visit is great.

Dr. Greenwald is the best psychiatrist I’ve had, by far. He’s very nice and intelligent and funny. He has spent time with me when I’ve been in crisis, and he asks really good questions to thoroughly figure out where you’re at and what you need. He’s asked me things no one thought to before. So I have never felt rushed, but then, when things with the meds and my emotional health are good, I don’t really want to hang around and talk anyway, I have a therapist for that. The staff is nice, but it’s true that they’re disorganized. If you’ve been on meds and they haven’t quite worked, or if you have weight problems, he is a good person to go to. He can really straighten out your meds, and he also listens about issues with meds and weight gain, he’ll help you weigh (no pun intended) the importance of that, and he knows a lot about combinations of meds and how they do or don’t affect your weight.

Rushed appointments; likes to write all of the meds on one prescription, which can be very inconvenient if you need to go to a different pharmacy or get your scripts while you're out of town. He's a nice guy and is extremely knowledgeable about meds, but it is very difficult to reach him outside of appointments, which he tends to keep extremely short. Also his staff is rather inefficient and unorganized (it takes them on average 10 minutes just to find my file). Furthermore they almost never pick up the phone, and I constantly have to leave messages on their voicemail. Definitely not the worst out there, but not the best either.

Great doctor, does rush you in the visit. He is very nice..

Dr. Greenwald is great! Dr. G's punctuality is as to be expected for a psychiatrist. He's never too late. He's very encouraging and compassionate. He understands about feelings, AND he also is smarter about medicines than any other doc I've been to. I've been going to him for more than a year (much better than the guy I used to go to) and I'm doing better than I ever have. Highly recommended.

I have been really happy with Dr. Greenwald. He has been my doctor for the last two years.

Dr. Greenwald has been late for all of my appointments and therefore has been in a rush. His cell phone is not turned off during visits which is annoying. Although, he does a great job of making you feel like you're doing the right thing by getting help and that your problems are treatable.
