Dr. Laevski’s ability to make you feel comfortable, even in the most uncomfortable or vulnerable situations, is truly a gift. His calm, down-to-earth demeanor, exceptional listening skills, genuine empathy, and deep knowledge of his field have made an incredible difference in my life. For the past 10 years, he has been a steady, compassionate presence—guiding me through some of the most difficult times with patience, respect, and unwavering support. I’ve never once felt judged, rushed, or unheard in his care. Simply put, I don’t know where I would be today without him. I am endlessly grateful for the care, understanding, and humanity he brings to every session. Dr. Laevski is not only an outstanding psychiatrist but a person who truly makes a lasting impact. I truly consider myself lucky to be in his care; his support has become even more meaningful to me than that of my own family physician.

Dr. Laevski is pretty decent. Over the last 4 years my perception has shifted about him. I guess I got to know him more & he got to know me more, which helped me understand why my mental health changes. I went from having no opinion, to rapid shifting of liking him to despising him, and honestly I feel like he genuinely cared the whole time, it just took a lot of tweaking of my medications to get on the proper level. I’ve become pretty humbled over the last 4 years with him plus his staff. They are super duper helpful and excellent. He’s human, we all kinda go through or own stuff. Compared to my psychiatrist in community, at least he shows up when I ask for him lol

Think he needs to retire. I was a zombie for 6 months, ended up in ER 7 times during those 6 months, and wanted to die....all from oversedating medications. Some people are extremely sensitive to psychiatric medications and need to be monitored extremely closely and listened to waaay more carefully by receptionist and psychiatrist. Medical horror story. .

When I first met with laevski he seemed very professional, but as time went on (I started noticing a difference with his demeanor) he agreed my medications at the time needed to be readjusted to a lower doseage as we both agreed on, next appointment out of the blue he wanted to adjust my medications right up to the maximum. Later found out I needed to be rediagnosed as my family doctor highly recommended it and won't return my family doctors calls for months after I reported malpractice. Not good in my book.

I really clicked with this man. He understood me on a foundational level, so we got to skip alot of the preliminary stuff and get right to the meat of my issues.

Dr Alex Laevski is the best psychiatrist, he does excellent therapy at each appointment. Very knowledgeable; up to date to the latest treatment. His secretary is very welcoming; very helpful, They make a great team,,

In my experience , he is not as smart as he thinks he is. Prescribes very heavy, addictive and dangerous pills like smarties and follows the party line to the letter. Be very careful.
