12/14/12 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Ten years ago I was wheeled into operating room with fractured tibia plateau and compartment syndrome. Documents signed approving above knee amputation. Due to the outstanding skills of this surgeon I still have me leg intact and I enjoy moderate mobility and no symptoms of arthritis. Walking with a cane is far better than a prosthesis. Five stars all around for this outstanding and professional surgeon. | Respond |

He didn't sugarcoat what my expectations should be - and i appreciate that. He relengthened/realigned my collarbone after a biking accident. It hasn't even been 6 weeks yet since my surgery, but i feel almost better then i did before my accident! You can barely tell anything happened to me, the scar is so fine that from 10 feet away you can't even see it. He's good, what else can i say! | Respond |

7/20/10 | 3 | 5 | 5 | 5 | I totally agree with the other comments, I had a botched surgery in Australia from a country doctor as a result of a car accident, 9 months later I came home and was referred to Dr. Blachut, he was honest, helpful and helped me make the difficult decision to have it rebroken. He is the best, totally realighned the bones properly, my recovery was quick, he was always helpful during the outpatient clinics and did the best job when I finally got all the hardware taken out. Top notch for sure. I am walking, running, playing softball and pain free thanks to him!!! | Respond |

5/25/10 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Dr. Blachut performed one emergency surgery and one follow - up surgery on my knee as a result of a motorcycle accident 16 years ago. The prognosis for the long term was not particularly good, with a likelihood of arthritis. I am pleased to report that I have been practically pain free since my surgeries and I attribute my condition to the excellent technical skill of Dr. Blachut and his advice on post - operative therapy. I attribute 16 quality years to this terrific surgeon. | Respond |

I've been seeing him for over 10 years and he has been fantastic despite my complicated medical history. He is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. I feel Dr. Blachut is upfront and honest about what he can offer you. He won't try to charm you or sugar-coat the truth. That said, Blachut is kind with a good sense of humour. 3/15/10 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | If you want great bedside manor, call your mother, but if you want the best surgeon in BC do yourself a favor and call Dr. Blachut. After a dreadful first surgery from another surgeon, Dr. Blachut re-broke, lengthened 2.5" and straightened my leg. I was walking like charlie chaplin in one high heel, now thanks to Piotr, my legs are both straight and of full and equal length. No more back pain, knee pain or pain in my hips. I am greatley indebted to Dr. Blachut and his staff. I get sick of hearing about "senativity" and "bedside manor", that's all bull****. When you are in serious need of the best, go see Dr. Blachut. | Respond |
