He is expensive, at the upper echelon of fee level and does not accept insurance, nor does he have a sliding scale. He has a special interest in creative types, meaning professionals in progressive fields of endeavor: media, advertising, the arts, etc., and he attracts people who are highly prolific in this regard, hence his rate. There is no staff, no wait time as all appointments are scheduled by email and he's very, very good with e-mail. You can trust him, he's direct and answers questions. He's a strong advocate of Positive Psychology, so, he's focused on your overall well-being, not just aiding your feeling less miserable. I recommend him highly. | Respond |

Over the year, we were able to tackle many of the items in my life causing problems and he helped find ways to better cope and still be true to myself. Dr. Cilona is absolutely incredible. He will make you the best possible version of yourself by making you aware of your own actions, discover patterns, and put you on the right path. I have no doubt that he can help anyone reach their goals. He listens to everything you have to say and every word he speaks is pure gold wisdom.

I love his upbeat style and way he makes me realize that many of my "problems" are easily surmountable. He's incredibly smart and practical when it comes to giving advice and direction. Dr. Joseph Cilona is a very caring, compassionate and understanding psychologist. He has great insight into the human condition and is able to provide excellence in support and expertise. He is very clear and conise with his direction and in the most trying of times, has gone above and beyond the call of duty on my behalf. He is a very nice person and is easy to talk to. He makes you feel welcome and comfortable and reamins engaged throughout the session. I see Dr. Cilona on an ongoing basis and he has worked with me through personal crisis and I highly recommend him to anyone who is reading this and looking for an excetional therapist. I couldn't imagine myself working in this capacity with anyone else. He is a unique person and an extraordinary doctor. In short, he is a class act. In addition, I brought a cfriend of mine to him when he was in a crisis and Dr. Cilona treated him with the utmost respect and dignity and got my friend to think differently about his life.
