I saw Dr. Conolly for the first time after being very frustrated with two other doctors there at Virginia Mason. I could never get in to see my regular PCP (DR. Gerbino- see her review)I have a dibilating life long disease and was very sick for 4 weeks, still having issues and felt brushed off by those doctors. After explaining how I needed to find a doctor that would take the time, look outside of the box, and just guide me with this disease, she gave me an exam and came to the conclusion I have "somitization disorder" (look this up , you wont believe it) I was in tears trying to get help. I asked why she'd think I'd have this when I'm running a fever, wheezy in my chest, and have RA. I'm also taking serious medications that can cause life threatening side affects so I need the wisdom of a doctor to help me. She said she didnt think we needed to run any diagnostic tests or draw my blood. You are paying these doctors to help you , not belittle you and waste your time.
