So sorry this doctor is retiring. I just had a consult for my third rhizotomy with this clinic. He is a thorough diagnostician and a highly skilled therapist/surgeon. He is willing to adapt procedures to suit the patient's issues. He is warm and welcoming. And bonus - a trenchant sense of humour and very cool socks. He has helped me walk pain-free for the past ten years.

Dr. Faclier has been very supportive and helpful in dealing with my back pain.

Had a visit with Dr Faclier today-he was brusque, largely dismissive and didn’t seem at all interested in helping my pain or finding solutions-seemed to make a judgement of me the moment I walked through the door and stuck to whatever that judgement was for the duration of my visit. I felt largely unseen, unsupported and made to feel absolutely insignificant and like my concerns are either irrelevant or fabricated. Absolutely gutted by this visit, and this lack of care and caring.

After an initial video conference meeting with Dr. Faclier - today I had a procedure to inject steriods in my spine at WCH.. Dr. Faclier was extremely friendly, patient, informative and gentle through the procedure.. I don't expect to see results from the procedure for a few days to week - but I STRONGLY recommend him to anyone with similar back / pain issues.

He did 3 epidural pain injections in my lumbar spine. Really helped my sciatica. He had time to chat beforehand too and answered my questions. He seems like he would be a good professor as well.

14 years ago, Dr. Faclier was my first pain specialist to treat my Neuropathic Neuralgia. I've since, experiences a number of specialists. 4 cities. None have provided ANY improvement on his treatment recommendations. I even went against one of his pieces of advice, knowingly. I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Gil Faclier today for an initial consult for my condition. I have an extruded disc herniation at L4-L5 level with severe spinal nerve L5 damage and compression. My condition has been worsening for the past year and thanks to my Family doctor who referred me to this amazing specialist, I am moving forward in the right track to finally resolve the underlying cause of the problem. I would highly recommend Dr Faclier. He is extremely knowledgable, highly skilled and experienced. I was nervous about having facet blocks done and he made me feel at ease. He has a really nice bedside manner, he is easy to talk to, approachable, great sense of humour and genuinely cares about his patients.

Before I was sent to Dr. Faclier I was almost bed ridden because of pain. He performed a radio frequency ablation on me and it has made a tremendous difference in the quality of my life. I still have the cause of the pain so I have to be respectful of that ugly fact. I have experienced long periods of time with being pain free and then I have the procedure done again.
