Dr. Wiesner's expertise in the field of Rheumatology is invaluable. He is caring and compassionate. He keeps me alive and healthy. 02/11/11 5 5 5 5 Dr. Wiesner saved my husband's life. Diagnosed with SLE in 2003, he continues to live a full life today, only with the help of Dr. Wiesner and his dedicated staff. 02/09/11 1 1 4 5 I was very impressed with the doctor but the office staff is the worst I have every dealt with. They do not take messages, they treaten to send to collections when they haven't billed insurance properly. They are horribly rude and unhelpful. If you need a good, caring doctor that's good. Just be prepared for a rude and unhelpful staff.  Respond

26/09/10 2 1 1 2 Dr. Wiesner had a strong advance reputation and I was anticipating seeing him. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The initial appointment was pretty straightforward although I would not describe his as caring. The second was, however, disastrous. When I entered the room, he said nothing at all but simply started putting up x-rays and commenting. He said I was among the worst he’d seen and that there was nothing he could do for me. So he would not be following me (despite the fact that he has long-term patients with the same condition). He delivered this news in such a cold clinical manner that I was shocked. Well, he did say one thing, namely, that I would just have to endure the pain. I left in dismay and it took several days to recover even somewhat from this experience.  Respond

25/06/10 5 5 5 5 I have had the blessing of having Dr. Wiesner as my rhuematologist since 1992. He has always been caring, gentle, and kind. He never makes you feel like you do not have a problem but helps you thorough it. I have a mystery disease that he has always looked for the answer to. I live in Oklahoma and travel back to Sacramento three times a year to keep my appointments with him. I cannot see me with another doctor with my fibromyalgia and unknown disorder. God bless Dr. Wiesner as he has blessed his patients.

03/08/08 5 5 5 5 Dr. Wiesner has saved my husbands life 4 times over the last 16 years. HE is the one to say a certain test should be done and when it is, a problem was found which the Internist Nor the Cardiologist had bothered to check. He is the most TRUELY compassionate, understanding and caring doctor we have ever been to.

03/10/07 5 3 5 5 I have been his patient for 10 years and he has always taken the time to explain my condition, answer questions and sometimes he just listens to me when I am going through difficult times. His patients come first with him. His work as a healer is his passion. He treats the whole person, not just the symptoms. He is the best physician I've ever known.  Respond

08/05/07 4 5 5 This is the kindest, gentleist, most understanding MD I've ever known. I worked with him, as a RN at the hospital, and I was also his patient. I cried when I had to leave him because we moved to Florida. The previous writer must have been looking for something not reality. He is honest, and above board!  See Responses

01/04/07 2 1 3 I had heard wonderful things about this doctor, but I was very disappointed. He is a bit aggressive- didn't stop talking and was condescending at times. He kept telling me I was expecting a magic pill- when I was just trying to understand what he thought was wrong with me. He speaks very fast and he got frustrated with me when I asked him to explain what he was saying. He threw out diagnoseses without discussion or explanation. As someone with chronic pain and other health problems, I hoped that at least he, given his field and experience, out of all the specialists I see, would be understanding about my need to get information and I left more confused than I was when I got there. It was a bad experience for me.  Respond
