Dr. Witham is amazing. I have never had a doctor advocate for me as he has. He is extremely knowledgable and very caring. As a breast cancer patient, I am totally comfortable with him. He has done an outstanding job for the residents of this community and it is shameful how Olympic Medical Center has treated him. I would continue my treatment with him wherever he went. I know he cares and he takes the time to really make sure you understand your options, your prognosis, and your treatment.

Witham is an internest, NOT an oncologist. PLEASE find someone else to treat you if you have cancer. His knowledge level in treating cancer is extremely low. He does no follow up on patients, doesn't keep track of what's going on and just doesn't care based on my own personal experience. He's too busy trying to get appointed for various political offices in the county to bother with patient care. His wife is on the hospital board too if this is of interest.

Dr. Witham is in the practice of MEDICINE and will take insurance companies to the mat for you. Low tolerance for nonsense from area staff (local Hospital) has only made him more dear to this area. If you go later in the day there will be a wait. Sometimes quite a wait. Dr. Witham is extremely knowledgeable and his PATIENTS think very highly of him so OMC would do well to learn to 'read his writing' one of the petty complaints vented when we presented an x-ray order. Foolishness. Dr. Witham is a gift to this area and I believe him to be one of the best in his field. He makes himself available 24/7 should you need him. He is a hero, to me. His ladies (office staff) are wonderful and never stilted or impatient. We here in Port Angeles are extremely fortunate to have this sort of man practising this type of medicine here (of all places!) as it is a small town without a whole lot to recommend it but then I'm from MVI. You are in extremely capable & good hands with Doc Witham.

Smart, and tremendously caring

I would very strongly advise seeking oncological care elsewhere than with this doctor, even if you have to travel to Seattle for it.
