11/03/14 3 1 1 1 I was referred to Dr. Hameed from my family doctor for a thyroid problem that we were concerned was not helping with my being able to loose weight. My family Doctor felt Dr. Hameed would be able to help me manage my thyroid to help with weightloss. Dr. Hameed very quickly brushed off my thyroid problem. Telling me that it wasn't a big deal, that I just needed to change my diet and that would fix everything. Unfortunately that Isn't the case and since visiting her I have had other specialists laugh at this incorrect information. I would NOT recommend her to anyone.

24/08/13 5 4 5 5 I do not know why all of these previous reviews are negative. I saw Dr. Hameed and she was so nice and very helpful and knowledgeable. She spent extra time with me explaining everything to me, and answered all of my questions. And when I called her office a few days later to book a follow up and ask another question her receptionist was very nice and got back to me as soon as possible. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone!

28/05/13 5 5 5 5 Hi my name is Lolita,I was reading all the comments made to the staff of Dr Hameed and most of them are awful, I was then about to make an appointment and call so I was so hesitant to do it but when I called and a lady answered me, she did it in such a nice and proper way, she's very accommodating and I didn't feel any rudeness or grumpiness while talking to her so all in all my experienced with her is nothing but pleasant.  Respond

03/05/13 1 1 1 1 This is by far the worst doctor I never imagined existed! While she is nice, she is consistently unprepared, I question if she is even a real doctor?! The simplest questions couldn't be answered. No diagnosis and left to suffer. On top of it all - I have never ever ever met a ruder receptionist than Hameed's. Do not waste your time, you'll suffer more with your ailment if you see her than not seeing a doctor at all.  Respond

11/02/13 1 1 4 4 Very pleasant doctor. Not sure blood reports are read by anyone when they come in. Receptionists are extremely abrupt and rude on the phone even when you're in trouble and call for an earlier appointment due to health issues. Yes there is always a wait for appointments but I don't mind that if I'm not rushed out the door and I'm not. Reception area needs much more pleasant staff attitudes!  Respond

01/08/12 1 1 1 1 shockingly unprepared and consistently late. I would be better off visiting my dog's vet.  Respond

21/06/12 1 1 1 2 I have never been treated as rudely in ANY situation as I have been by the Hameed's receptionist. Any doctor that would keep that receptionist employed obviously is NOT PAYING attention, which is the feeling you get from Hameed. I now have to see her only once a year and absolutely dread the experience.  Respond

15/02/12 2 1 1 3 No only does she not know who you are on repeat visits she also takes very poor notes and had no idea what dose of meds I was on or if I had had a procedure or not.  Respond

27/09/11 4 3 1 2 Dr. Hameed does not really care. This is the feeling I get, like I am making all the symptoms up and it has nothing to do with the thyroid being removed. She would not think out of the box. She is nice, but I wish she was helpful.  Respond

24/07/11 4 1 4 4 Dr. H. has a very pleasant manner and I find her knowledgable. Her secretary is extremely busy, perhaps that is why some find her brusque. I think under those circumstances she does fine. Negative is punctuality. There is usually a wait of 45 minutes or more. When I do get to see Dr. H. she does not rush me.  Respond

15/03/11 1 1 1 1 I would not recommend this Dr. to my worst enemy, in fact I spoke to my family phyisician about not referring other patients to her. At first she seemed congenial and answered my questions, but that didn't last for long. I was on bloodwork every 2 weeks, but it quickly became apparent that she was not reviewing these reports. I had to call her to request that she reviewed them which resulted in medication alterations on 2 occassions. Even calling her office was unpleasant. Her receptionist is a very miserable woman. When I asked Dr. Hameed about a biopsy, she advised that I didn't need one. Foolishy, I put my faith in her expertise, but not for long. I ended up getting a 2nd opinion and moving to a new endicronologist who quickly validated my concerns. I have since discovered that I had 2 malignant tumors that needed to be removed, one that had started to spread. Thank God I did not stay with her...who knows where I would be now.  Respond

25/01/10 5 3 4 5 Dr Hameed treats my diabetes. She has always been very knowledgeable about the disease and takes into consideration that I don't have benefits when prescribing meds. She has always treated me with compassion even when I goof and go off meds, I don't feel judged. She just wants to help me stay healthy. Her front desk staff is also helpful with appointments and the only complaint would be that I have never seen her at the actual appointment time, usually 15-30 mins later.  Respond

19/09/09 2 1 1 2 I'm seeing Dr Hameed for Tryroid problems, Graves D. She has me on medication and blood work every 2 weeks which I think is good, unfortunatle she not reading her reports for lab results it seems. In my 2 app I told her I was gaining 15 pounds in 3 months she laught,I felt weak, cold, dry skin, swelling due to retention of water. I told her the dosis of medication must be to high b/c since she increase the medication I started feeling all these symptoms but as Dr Hameed this has nothing to do with the medication. As soon I told her I ghanged my family Dr. she looked at my file and told me to stop the medication for 3 days and then start at half the dose?????? So that told me I'm not in good hands and I'm looking for a new Dr.. By the way she's not puntual I been waiting from 45- 1 hour to be seen.  Respond

15/09/09 3 4 4 4 Dr.Hameed is a very good doctor. She asked all the necessary questions and did not rush through my appointment (30 minutes long). She is punctual, and has knowledge on pre-natal care for diabetics. I recommend her to everyone.  Respond

27/08/09 5 5 5 5 I found Dr. Hameed to be extremely knowlegeable. Took the time to answer all of my questions, whether it was on the phone, or in her office. I never felt rused or frustrated with the care I have been given. Her positive attitude has really helped to calm my nerves through a most difficut time.  Respond

12/08/09 3 4 1 2 Went once for thyroid problems. I felt wrong (anyone with thyroid will understand) and felt my dosage should be adjusted or a different brand tried. She would not discuss that at all. All she wanted to know was how much cream I put in my coffee and how much I ate. -- Lose weight and all will be well. -- It is all your fault you feel bad. -- That is her mantra. Stay away.  Respond

04/08/09 4 1 1 3 She was almost 30 mins late getting to the office. She had 4 patients waiting. Amazingly, it took only 20 mins to see those 4 patients before she saw me. Makes me wonder what she really did for those 4 previous patients? My visit was ridiculously brief - checked my pulse, blood pressure, asked a few questions about my control and insulin dosage and that was it... over and done with in 4 mins. What a waste of time...  Respond

23/02/09 2 2 2 2 Dr Hameed made a good impression when I first saw her as an outpatient at OTMH. I began losing confidence in her when I next saw her at her office. Her description of my treatment plan was disjointed, missed several key steps, and created unrealistic timeline expectations. She referred me to a third party website hosted by Dr Drucker, but it was not helpful. The Thryvors brochure was much more useful, but she did not offer that (I found it on my own). I next saw her after my surgery, and she had no idea I had been operated on and did not have my test results. In addition, not enough time had passed between the surgery and the blood tests, so these had to be redone (she failed to mention this when I asked her for a timeline and my GP did not know either). In addition, the RAI was scheduled a month later than she had stated. She finally seemed to have time to answer questions at the RAI, but I couldn't imagine being stuck with her. Her secretary was surly, but managed to transfer my file  Respond
