I've been a patient of Dr. Markowitz for about a year and with each visit (there have been several) I have found the him and his office staff to be very friendly, competent and professional. Dr. Markowitz has a wonderful manner, seems to care about his patients, and is very knowledgeable about his practice. He is always willing to answer questions, is willing to discuss a long-term approach to your personal dental care, and is very considerate when working on your teeth (e.g., he always ask if you are comfortable and takes extra steps to prevent unnecessary pain). The office environment is very relaxing and pleasant. One thing I find particularly impressive, and generally uncommon among other area doctors, is that he always follows up each visit with a phone call to make sure everything is okay and to ask if I have questions. He truly reflects the best in the medical profession and the type of practitioner our medical system could use more of.

I am a terrible dental-phobe and Dr. Markowitz has been extremely helpful and patient with me. I've had some very bad experiences with dentists in the past, and over the years I have come to trust Dr. Markowitz. He also does good work, and is honest and fair. I recommend him without reservation.
