My last visit with Dr.Lam was very bad. He is very rude, condescending and belittling. He has no manners and is opinionated when discussing any issue. He never shows any respect to me during any my visits. When I say thank you for your time, he ignores me. I feel less then human when I see him. I don’t think any one should be treated this way. He is arrogant , mean and impatient. If he doesn’t like his profession , he should do something else. I am getting a different doctor now, way over due. Any doctor would be better than this one. I don’t need the added stress, especially when I ham having serious health problems.

Worst doctor ever. Can't remember a thing, asks the same questions at each appointment like your meeting him for the first time. Even asked me what the treatment options for what I believed I had... Like excuse me. Run, far away.

Dr James Lam has been my doctor for five years and I'm not impressed! It's more about him than the patient's issues. He tries to control me by not refilling my prescriptions and making phone appointments before refilling. That way he can invoice the medical system for the appointment. He is not at all personable and seems to just go through the motions and do his job without care and compassion! We all need more than this! He can also be grumpy and short fused so I think at this point he should retire like others here have stayed. I found a drop in clinic doctor who was much better but not a GP like Lam. I'm all but done with him! There is so much more I could mention here but it doesn't matter because he isn't taking new patients anyway but I had to vent here!

I don't have any problems with Dr Lam. I have been with him for many years. Yes he can be a little abrasive at times but have always felt he simply want you to follow his advise. But doctors do make mistakes, they are only human. And they are hard to come by, keep that in mind.

I've known Dr Lam for a long time (as a care provider). He definitely isn't everyones cup of tea but he certainly does spend the time to go over things with his patients. Like many people have said, he sometimes falls behind but if you're the one waiting in the office you know it's because he's taking his time to give the pertininet care to his patients before you. In a perfect world it would be great to have a sweet, empathetic Dr who has the world of empathy, but we can't have it all! Dr Lam is one Dr who will not rush you out the door, he is thorough, pragmatic, no frills...and uses his skills to get to the heart of the matter.

Worst Dr ever. Only redeeming quality is his secretary. I go in for my issues then he blatantly ignores the information you're telling him. I cried after one on phone consultation because he kept yelling at me when I asked for a test. DONT COME HERE.

This man needs to retire. He has no interest in helping people. He doesn’t listen. Doesn’t want to answer questions. He’s rude. He’ll cut you off. He only cares about getting people out of his office quickly. It’s gotten to the point that I don’t feel comfortable getting anything checked out because I know he won’t even try to do anything. I genuinely believe that he is harming the community by being allowed to practice.

Please don't let your daughter or wife see this doctor. Check with the College of Physicians & Surgeons for his disciplinary record and actions previously applied.

Tried being my psychologist and was giving me meds for false diagnosis, refuses to give referral to proper psychiatrist, says he is my doctor so I tell him my problem and he gives me pills. Big red flag. If you ask questions he will get mad, send you away, and won’t reschedule you.
