I have been to see this doctor 2 times and have been treated wonderfully by his MOA and by him. His is very easy to talk with and explains everything so the average person can understand what is happening. I never felt rushed and feltt like he really cared. Would recommend him to everyone I know.

11/19/11 | 1 | 2 | 1 | 1 | Kept blaming returns to hospital on patient not taking meds as prescribed, which was not the case. 6 times in and out of the hospital it took Dr. Sing to be on vacation to find out from another doctor how to adjust meds to stop returns to emergency. I believe he was only guessing on how to treat a disease that is not uncommon. Definitely doesn't know anything about liver problems! | Respond |

10/14/10 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Dr Sing was on call when my father was in hospital and has been following up on his complaint ever since. He goes through the reports thoroughly and explains every thing in layman's language. Being a consultant he accepts calls to explain any issues or concerns. | Respond |

9/13/10 | 2 | 2 | 1 | 2 | I was refered to Dr. Sing for chronic abdominal pain. He was quiet and attentive but when it came time to do a colonoscopy, my blood pressure was already quite low and I was not given any sedation. I fainted twice during the procedure to the point Dr. Sing had to stop the procedure be fore it was finished. It was so painful and he was in no way gentle in his technique. I learn later that this was not a normal issue with other gastroenderologist, from other physicians. Dr. Sing is too forceful and caused me incredible pain. | Respond |

4/12/10 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | Should very little concern, poor judgment used to perform in-house colonoscopy which resulted in my ending up in ER. Staff attitude was questionable and need of further training, inadequate information passed on to patient. Would not ever recommend him to anyone near or dear to me. He is no long able to perform cololonoscopies!!! | Respond |

9/7/09 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 1 | Dr. Sing has been following one of my parents for years for GI issues. Essentially, he became the outpatient doctor as a result of a hospital stay at a local hospital. We have not been impressed by his approach to diagnosis (i.e. nonchalant attitude), the actual diagnosis itself (we've often had to get a second opinion), the management (he often can't explain his rationale for the proposed treatment). Overall, we mistook his quiet approach as one of confidence until we realized what is actually happening behind the scenes. His office is prompt with 3 monthly follow-ups that cost the system $$, wastes patients time, and result in little significant improvement. I am saddened that many patients continue to rely on this doctor (funded by the taxpayers) for GI issues when there are so many other gastroenterologists who do a far superior job (and we've met several excellent GI docs since Dr. Sing). If you have a serious and urgent condition, please take caution with who you get referred to. | Respond |

9/2/09 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | Not certain where the raving reviews are coming from where patients applaude this so called doctor for his positive diagnosis and treatment. My wife was referred to him by the family doctor since she had a constant abdominal pain. Despite numerous visits he was unable to diagnose the issue; he went from suspecting issues in the colon to problems in the chest, when the pain was localised in the abdomen. Probably the most unsocial medical professional who gets extremely nervous when questioned on the diagnosis or the elements of treatment. He cannot concentrate on anything other than his rattling of his hand written medical record, which he makes a point to repeat at every visit. He is a misfit to the medical profession and should be ousted even at his current old age. My wife was subsequently diagnosed with the correct prognosis and will be undergoing surgery in the near future; basically the issue has nothing to do with what George Sing has been gunning after for almost a year. | Respond |

12/31/07 | 4 | 4 | 5 | 5 | Great sense of humour. Knows me from top to bottom (literally :-) and I always feel as if he's talking with me and not to me. Scheduled regularly for colonoscopies, I don't dread the procedure knowing he's in charge. | Respond |

12/14/07 | 5 | 3 | 5 | 5 | It takes some time to build a relationship with Dr Sing but when you do you realize he is a really caring doctor. We have seen him for over a decade and each visit he takes time to address every concern and makes sure there is a solid gameplan in place, especially when the referring family doctor isn't really on top of it. He makes sure to look at every thing logically (and explains it in a manner that is understandable). He also makes sure to look at how you're functioning at home, minimizing meds and also makes sure to take aggressive treatment when needed. His wife works in the office to help with colonoscopies and gastroscopies and she's great too! And his new secretary is really nice and accomadating! | Respond |

I had a consultation with Dr. Sing and based on my feedback he sent me for stool testing and decided to proceed with a colonoscopy. He was extremely informative, encouraged questions and gave logical answers in layman's language. After those results were received (nothing found) he proceeded to arrange for a barium test as some of my symptoms warranted further investigation. At all times, he was courteous, accomodating, and supportive. I am so glad he was referred to me by another patient. I rated him with top marks in all your categories.
