I love Dr.Manesh P she is straight forward, gives good advice, yes, she is very clinical but that is her job. I found her to be compassionate, and I have been going to her for over 6 years, I am happy to have found this site, so others know she is a superlative Dr. she attends to details and sent me to the specialist, I have always appreciated that she is candid, you get the truth from her. thanks Dr. M. you have helped me so much. I was happy to get my Botox done by this professional Dr. thanks for doing the BEST Botox if you need a bit of upliftment she is the one to go to.
Dr Pather no longer practices in Canada...She went back to her home -England; I'm sad to have lost her.. She was a bit terse, but she knew her stuff.
-receptionist cursed. -Dr.P kept me waiting while not busy. -Dr.P asked for cash upfront or else it was a waste of her time. -Dr. Complained about other patients. -Dr. Complained about my request. -Dr. seemed like I was a burden. -Dr. was rude. **DON'T GO TO THIS DOCTOR!**
I have been a patient of Dr. Pather for over 4 years now. She has been wonderful to me and my wife. As soon as my test results came back with the diagnosis of cancer, she set up further apointments very fast and my cancer is now in remission. Dr. P. has been compassionate giving me as much time as I needed and said the door is always open. So my wife and I were upset when we received the letter to say she is leaving. London's gain is our loss. You will be missed. I also think that the negative raters are probably jealous women as Dr. Pather is young, intelligent and super cute. Good luck and thank you for everything.
I had been warned that Dr.Pather was totally inept. I should have listened and never gone to her. I don't mind, overly, if a doctor is simply rude (and trust me, Dr.Pather's bedside manner leaves a lot to be desire) - but it is more than disconcerting when a doctor is boorish, ineffectual and clumsy with her advice and diagnoses. After time spent with Dr.Pather, I am left overwhelmingly concerned that, through her negligence, patients she see may come to harm.
My elderly mother has been a patient of Dr. Pather for 4 years. She has been nothing but compassionate and caring with her, taking extra time if necessary. Referrals have been made to specialists timeously. I cannot fault Dr. Pather. Our family is saddened to see her go. I hope her replacement is as thorough as she is. Good bye and God bless. We wish you luck in your endeavours.
DR. PATHER IS RUDE, UNCARING, AND OPENLY MORE CONCERNED WITH HER PAY THAN WITH HER PATIENTS. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED A DOCTOR WITH SUCH TERRIBLE MANNERS AND LACK OF BEDSIDE MANNER, SPECIALLY FOR AN INFANT PATIENT. I have had to take my daughter to Dr. Pather twice in the time my regular doctor (at the same clinic) has been on mat leave. The first visit was for her 9 month check up. Dr. Pather REFUSED to look at my infant because MSP wouldn't pay her for a 9 month check up. This is my first child and I had been told by the health unit as well as another doctor at the same clinic that it is standard to get an infant checked at 3,6,9,&12 months. My second experience with Dr. Pather was for the 12 month check up where she rushed through the basic checks. When I commented to her again about her 9 month check up opinion, she made it very clear that she worked for MSP and they don't pay her for 9 month checkups. Then she walked out of the room on us while I was still speaking.
I have seen Dr. Pather now for seven years, and in those seven years she was most helpful, and diagnosed many problems early that could have caused severe problems later on. She is caring listens to what you have to say. I even moved to vancouver but I still drive there to see her, I refuse to get another doctor.
I have been seeing Dr. Pather as it's difficult to get into my own doctor because he hardly works. She picked up a heart problem, immediately sent me to the cardiologist in Langley and I had a pacemaker put in. I am fine now after suffering for so many months. Dr. Pather is great.
I wish I had another doctor to see because everytime I see her with an issue for me or my kids, I leave feeling rushed and issue not resolved. She definitely has a time constraint because it's in and out asap. She comes across as uncompassionate and uncaring. One appt with my daughter (she's 10) she told her "to stop acting like a baby" when she was dealing with a very personal and sensitive issue. I wish I could switch but like another review I feel I'm stuck.
