8/22/12 | 4 | 4 | 1 | 1 | Dr. Adams did not like that I asked him to coterize mole-like things on my face. He did it summarily so that all the 'things' remained as before. He showed his annoyance. He did not believe me that I had a dermatologist in another province do the same job successfully several years ago. He deliberately burnt me above my eye-lid, where I did not have any mole-like 'thing' as if he wanted to punish me. I would not recommend this doctor. | Respond |

1/20/12 | 2 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Dr. Adams is thorough, highly skilled, knowledgeable and ready to listen to your concerns and questions so have them handy. He wants to do his best for you and you can tell he really cares about your health. I have seen him regularly for cancer screening and other treatments through some very trying times and always leave knowing I was well cared for and about...the only negative for me was the abruptness and impatience of the front desk staff (consistent over the years) and the crowded waiting area. Dr. Adams care is worth it though. | Respond |

1/4/12 | 1 | 1 | 2 | 4 | Dr Adams is just another symptom of the disease that is Canada's dermatology system. No differentiation between aesthetic, botox-craving patients and those with legitimate problems makes for an overcrowded office where all staff (and patients) are pushed to their absolute limit. In my experience, not enough time is allocated to patients, problems are not discussed in detail, and quick fixes are often prescribed. Long wait times, unhelpful reception, and the feeling of being pushed through the office ruin the fact that Dr Adams is a competent, capable, and knowledgeable doctor. While I wouldn't suggest anyone go here (unless you want some frivolous filler et al), there really isn't anywhere better to go in Calgary (or Canada, for that matter). | Respond |

7/27/11 | 1 | 3 | 4 | 4 | Dr. Adams is fine but the reception staff and the organization of the clinic is a disaster. My expectations for this type of clinic would be that if I phone the line is not busy, when I speak to a receptionist that are polite as opposed to rude and unprofessional and that it not take 7 weeks to get an appointment for a laser shot that takes 5 seconds that is administered by a nurse. I don't think these are unreasonable expectations. This clinic desperately needs an office manager or if they have one, a competent office manager to have receptionists that aren't testy battleaxes who hate their jobs and to organize the system better. It isn't rocket science! All I can do is tell my family doctor to find a better derm clinic for referrals and to pray for the arrival of private health care where I can pay $20 a pop for competency and professionalism with the staff. Doctors shouldn't be office managers - it is a different skill set! | Respond |

6/28/11 | 4 | 5 | 4 | 5 | Dr. Adams is an excellent dematologist. He is caring, and very knowledgeable. My twelve year old daughter had an acne problem, and he was very helpful in treating it in a very quick manner. The staff was very friendly, and we didn't have to wait too long for an appointment. We were so happy that we received the time slots that we required. We feel very fortunate that he was recommended to us! Thank you for being such a great doctor, and helping to clear up my daughters acne. She is very happy with the results! | Respond |

2/17/11 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Great doctor! Very compassionate, first dermatologist I've went to that actually listened to me! And his nurses were also wonderful. | Respond |

11/11/10 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 4 | Dr. Adams may be knowledgeable, but he's very rude and abrupt, sometimes to the point of blatant impatience and intolerance. I always feel rushed while there, compounded by the fact that his waiting room is always overcrowded, the receptionists are always on the phone and are also very abrupt and curt to the point of rudeness. It takes forever to see him, yet he gives the most impersonal, brief check-ups. I am never satisfied when I leave, and feel brushed off and dismissed without having my questions answered, or feeling respected. His nurse is the only bright light in an otherwise hectic and impersonal cattle-chute operation. I just feel like I'm lining his pockets and that he's trying to stuff as many patients through the system as possible. If it didn't mean another 2 year wait to see another dermatologist, I'd stop going to this doctor. | Respond |

2/14/10 | 4 | 4 | 5 | 5 | I have been going to Dr. Adams for 2 yrs and have always found him to be most professional. Both Dr. A and Liz, his nurse, are extremely busy and I have always felt that I had enough time with Dr. A to go over any questions I had. Liz is very busy keeping things on track at the clinic and I can understand why some may misinturpret this as her being "short" or rude. I highly respect Liz (& Dr. A) as they deal with so many patients day in and day out. Thank you Liz and Dr. Adams for your hard work and dedication to your patients. | Respond |

1/17/10 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | I have been a patient of Dr. Adams for several years and he has helped me beyond measure. Previous treatments from other derm docs were uneffective. Dr. Adams is personable, extremely knowledgeable, a true professional & a credit to the medical profession. I am forever grateful for the care he has shown me. Thanks Dr. Adams! | Respond |

11/2/09 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Was being treated for warts for years with no improvement; Dr Adams first to do a biopsy and discover the condition was not warts at all; would highly recommend him to anyone; helped my friend with her situation when other doctors couldn't. | Respond |

10/14/09 | 4 | 4 | 5 | 5 | I went to see Dr. Adams when I was experiencing severe cystic acne on my chin. Dr. Adams put me on accutane and was very thorough about what to expect and how to manage my skin and lifestyle while I was on it. During the last month of my treatment, my skin cleared up perfectly. When I went to see him, he seemed just as happy as I was and said that my skin looks great and that I should be a very happy person - it was as if we won the battle together. He is a great guy and only suggested cosmetics procedures (I believe there is a place next to the office that offers cosmetics procedures) only when I asked about scar reduction. He went on to say that it was entirely up to me and that he doesn't feel like it's totally necessary if I'm willing to be a bit more patient with less evasive creams | Respond |

10/5/09 | 4 | 4 | 4 | 5 | I was very fortunate to be referred to Dr. Adams. Even though I had to wait six months for my appointment and it was short, it was worth it. He made me feel at ease, answered my questions and showed he cares by asking about my Dad when he found out that he had melanoma. His bedside manners is also good. | Respond |

4/21/09 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | I'm still so thankful to the specalist who referred me to Dr. AdamsStewart. He really knows his job and makes me feel secure, He will never hesitate on any diagnostic, in a nutshell He is just amazing!!! as well as all the staff in there, by the way Dr. Susan does everything for the clinic, She is so so nice, so confident, amazing! and strives for getting you a good taste of mouth on behalf of the whole clinic. In spite that the world runs so fast in such place(and always bursting at the seams) every doctor finds the just-in-time to treat you kindly and with highly work-ethic.I widely recomend such an efficient clinic. It's my pleasure. Thank you Dr. Adams and Dr. Susan!!!! | Respond |

4/5/09 | 1 | 3 | 4 | 4 | Dr. Adams is a very good dermatologist. He has a nurse, Liz, who is curt and uninterested in helping. She appears to be pleasant, but is really just interested in getting you in and out. This office is incredibly busy and your appointment time of five minutes means the visit is brief. But, Dr. Adams is worth the wait of getting through the crazy busy office and dealing with his nurse Liz. | Respond |

11/8/08 | 5 | 3 | 5 | 5 | We have had emergencies and were seen in an acceptable time period within 24 hours of calling in... ....I know there are others waiting in the waiting for for cosmetic procedures (often elective and non-urgent) and I often hear them complain of the waiting times; heavy sighs and annoyance. Those front desk gals are Saints putting up with them. Our condition is extreme and often commands emergency attention...they do acknowledge those in order of priority.... | Respond |

7/22/08 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | I have never met a better physician ever. This physician can diagnose, treat, and at the same time give you greDt confidence in his ability. His office is the most well run office I have been it. There are simply no words to express the gratitude that Dr. Stewart Adams deserves. This physician has changed my life after many others could not. Though the practice is very busy Dr. Adams takes all the time that you need from him. Kindness is something Dr. Adams could teach a course on. | Respond |

5/29/08 | 4 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Very intelligent and knowledgeable doctor, diagnosed my issue in seconds. I was very happy my family doctor referred me to him; he answered all my questions and even though the clinic was incredibly busy I was seen at my scheduled time and the administration side seemed to be almost flawless. Very impressed by this doctor and his practice. | Respond |

5/20/08 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Brilliant. Simply brilliant. His background in internal medicine, a speciality in which he would have risen to the top of the heap in short order, only makes this physician more qualified to treat and diagnose. He is in a class of his own. You want to try to get in to see one of the best Canadian doctors? See Dr. Stewart Adams. The staff whom I have met who support Dr. Adams' practice are top notch. He somehow manages to stay on time while seeing his patients. I can't say enough good things about this doctor, other than to add that his father, Dr. Winston Adams of Regina, is also one of the best physicians. How proud he must be of his son. | Respond |

5/1/07 | 2 | 3 | 3 | Actually, I found that his nurse is more knowledgeable and in some cases does the treatment. The rest of the clinical staff are great, but I find him a bit too uptight! | Respond | |
