Biography
Dr. Andres Navedo-Rivera, MD, is a senior associate in perioperative anesthesia in the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital and an assistant professor of anesthesia at Harvard Medical School. Board certified in both general anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology, he specializes in providing anesthesia care for infants, children, and adolescents undergoing complex surgical and medical procedures. Dr. Navedo-Rivera earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his internship, residency, and fellowship training through Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and Babies Hospital in New York. With decades of experience in pediatric perioperative medicine, he is recognized for his expertise in patient safety, airway management, and compassionate, family-centered care for children with complex medical needs.
