I like Dr. Johnston very much. He cares about his patients.

This Dr. is far less knowledgeable than most internal med Drs, and lately his bedside manner is worse. I stuck with him for several years because it was easy to get an appt when I was sick, but then when I thought I had an elevated hormone problem, it became clear I shouldn't trust my health with Johnston. I went and asked for a physical (told him i hadnt had one in 6 yrs), and I told him about the suspected problem, and he told me that just by looking at me he could tell I was healthy. I had to BEG him to check my reflexes, standard for a physical, again he told me that just by looking at me he knew my reflexes were fine. If that were the case they wouldn't do reflex tests! After practically begging for an RX for a blood test, the results came back and it turned out I did have a hormone imbalance. He actually had a nurse call me back about meds-he was either too embarrassed or rude to call himself. Since then I've changed docs and I couldn't be more pleased with my new physician.
