He is mean, only because he cares,best there is ..

Dr Simice helped me enormously by informing me that my diabetes A1c of 6.7% was crud, whereas my GP told me it was excellent. When I investigated, I discovered that Dr Simice was correct. I was able to take positive steps to improve my blood sugars resulting in a tremendous improvement in my health. Dr Simice also suggested some changes to my diet which worked very well.

No nonsense, straight to the point doctor. I really appreciated his upfront approach. Although he comes across a bit gruff, he really cares. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I was late for my first appointment and forgot to bring my meds with me - never will do that again. lol Dr. Simice saved my life and for that I am so grateful. He really cares about fixing you as he said to me at the end of my first visit "I am going to fix you my friend!" I see him one or two times a week now and I am very lucky to have him as a doctor. He as a rough exterior but is a **** cat inside. I have made him laugh on occasion. ;-)

He seems a bit gruff first time you meet him. But he's a great Doctor. I like him tremendously. He's got a soft inside. He just doesn't small talk. I'm giving him full marks.

He is the first doctor I have ever had that met me in the waiting room, shook my hand and walked with me into his office. He does not dwell in the mundane and gets right to the point. His first words to me in his office were, "OK, what kind of (GD) poisons are you on? and I am going to put you on a diet". Dr. Simice is a bit gruff in his manner but has a sense of humor and gets right to the point. If this bothers you then see someone else but if you want someone who is very thorough and compenent and leaves no stone unturned then he is your man. He is a mover. I would recommend him at the drop of a hat.

I felt like I was a bother to him, like I was wasting his time.First time I felt gross after the exam with him .I had to take all my cloths off which I felt was very odd and there was no female nurse in the room or even offered.I will never go back to him.I have had alot of surgerys in my time so far but that exame was not right.

I have nothing but good to say about Dr. Simice's skill and attitude toward the patient. Once I got to see him,he gave me a thorough set of tests to follow and at the end he reassured me that I am ok. He's one of the few MD's I have seen who actually saw me at the appointed time, without much of a wait.

I was referred to Dr,Simice last October and it's because of his diagnosis and good strong involvement, that I was operated on for quintiple bypass within 10 days of seeing hinm. I have made a remarkable recovery and have Dr. Simice and Dr. Michael Neufeld to thank for their quick action.
