dr han has been my doctor for well over a decade. I think she needs to learn about loyalty to her patients who drive from braselton to see her when they have tons of choices of physicians to see. I never had an issue until recently requesting a drs letter for a colonoscopy. I am a nurse and needed to obviously be off the night before the procedure for bowel prep reasons, and the night of the procedure. I work night shift fyi. I don't think this takes rocket science! the staff member Q seems cool about it, but Tanya is the long time employee who knows good and well how important colon cancer screenings are and how important it is to have flexibility with work. she left in 2012 and was lucky to get her job back cause her boss was understanding. OK, I work for a hospital. Im not an office nurse. I am a northside nurse and they will write you up without a drs letter. its an unexcused absence. they refused to email it. they dont' have a modern office with electronic health records, so they weren't able to put it on mychart system or myonechart system. is that my fault that we are still not following the health care reform laws on electronic health record. they got the nerve to cite PHI and HIPAA. They didn't mail it. they wanted me to drive 2 hours after to pick it up after 3:30. I work at 640pm. How was that gonna work out. I gave a fax number that they agreed to send it to and had me waiting there at the UPS store and then said, "later after 3:30" It pissed me off so much the lack of respect, loyalty, professional courtesy and the laziness. If one of their friends or siblings needed a letter, i guarantee they have and would send it. I am a paying customer. Dr Han has made enough money from me over the years to pay at least 2 of their salaries. she just did an egd on me cause she doesn't do upper and lower endoscopy to make it easier and cheaper. Once again, not my fault. Look people. I went to this office with hopes you would be professional and give the patients letters for their job so that they aren't fired for calling off on a weekend day. Ive used lots of call outs for various illness, which is why I am getting dr hans services. Its a freaking letter for christ sake. REspect my night shift 12 hours and dont' ask me to drive to pick up a letter that your antiquated office can't post on "myonechart". Unbelievable. I wastedmoney on bowel prep just to go ahead and have to cancel because they are delaying giving this letter and my job will not accept a last minute letter. Thanks dr han for treating a MSN educated nurse and patient for over decade who has taken care of your patients at northside hospital. You ain't right!

I have used Dr. Han for many years and feel she is very knowledgeable and caring about my concerns. She talks fast with an accent, and I have to listen very carefully to what she is saying, but she is witty and spot on with her diagnosis. I usually have to wait in her office longer than most doctor's waiting rooms, and I find her staff not patient friendly.

My experience with Dr. Han has been nothing short of frustrating. She didn't spend much time with me and just ordered a test without listening much to what I had to say. Then I received a very high bill for a 'Complex Office Visit' as if I were in the office for hours (which I was, but more waiting in the waiting room than with her). I found her somewhat disinterested and unprofessional and I will not return.

She is bright, kind and funny at a time. I been going to Gastroenterologists for the past 10 years for my debilitating digestive issues. I saw 2 different GI specialist but none of them could figure it out. Their treatment never worked. Several my friends, coworkers, and several doctors recommended Dr. Agnes Han. So, I gave a try since I was suffering too much too long. After one visit, yes one visit, she figured it out. she gave me medication based on my "physiology' and review of all the works ups I went through last 10 years. she explained to me my condition, how medication works, and even potential side effects. she explained to me why other medication did not work very well. she is GOD's GIFT, I call her my Angel. I have a life now. I enjoy everyday without fear of my digestive issues preventing me from doing things. She is humble, modest, and the BEST GI DOC in my book!!. I am glad I found her, I am glad I listen to my friends, doctors and coworkers who shares the same as her patient.

I went to Dr. Han for my upper endo and the experience was fine. I did not get good guidance on medications or any kind of help other than the procedure, which happens to be in a facility that she owns - seems to be a big money maker, but was convenient and all of her staff was good. My biggest problem with her is that I referred my brother to her as he had been really sick after eating. She did an upper and lower GI, but never did any ultrasound on him. This went on for a year before she finally figured out that he had a gallbladder issue, which should have been a basic GI screening. This was very upsetting and he ended up having surgery, but should have been diagnosed earlier. He also got very confusing information about whether or not to take medications, just like I had experienced. I would not refer her again and have moved to another GI specialist that is much more professional and I have had better results and feel like I can trust. The communication is flowing a lot better. Just make sure that if you go to her, that you are educated on possible conditions and ask specific questions.

My mother went to see Dr. Han following an ER visit due to severe stomach pains. Not only do you have to pay a $25 copay everytime you visit, she talks so fast and indifferent towards you it makes you wonder if she even cares. I accompanied my mother to every single visit (she is a korean immigrant with limited English) and the way Dr. Han makes snide remarks about my mother to me in English is sickening. Makes me wonder if she views her patients as objects to make money or someone's loved one. One time she had a person shadow her during one of our last visits and when she found out my mother had stopped taking a over the counter medicine, she looked back at the person and said, "Typical Korean Patient" as if it were an inside joke between them. Dr. Han, as a person who is Korean American, completely degraded and discriminated Koreans in front of the person who was shadowing her in order to get some brownie points or something. Horrible bedside manner and talks a million words a minuteacher using complex medical terminology with no further explanation! And I haven't even started on the fact that we had to wait 3 weeks to get our ultrasound results back (which resulted in another $25 copay for her to speak with us 5 min to say it came back good) because she was on vacation. Doesn't even discuss results over the phone and requires a visit (and $25 copay) every single time!

Dr Han has been my doctor for 16-18 years. Wonderful. She saw me thorough 2 surgeries found necessary after colonoscopies. I took my mom who was 89 yrs old to see her. Very caring, too the point that she saw me 4 days in a row thorough the weekend because of reaction to meds.

my entire family of 3 generations have been seeing Dr. Han for the past 8 years. She is and always have been most kind and caring physician I ever met. she is brilliant with in depth knowledge. Regardless how busy she is, she answers all my questions and constantly educate me. If I am the one who kept her long time thus making those patients to wait, I am sorry to you all. she is worth the wait. When emergency happens, you bet you could count on her. SHE WILL be there to SAVE YOU the way she saved my life.
