If you get a referral to see him for dermatology run the other way. Complete waste of time, 5 months in between appointments. Just pushes expensive prescriptions on you without letting you say what treatment you want. Worth the drive to courtenay to see another derm. Counldnt get me in when I had an emergency situation regarding my skin condition affecting my eyesight. Seems like they only care about you if you want botox.

Very skilled, knowledable doctor who is easy to communicate with. Despite his impressive success, he is still very warm, friendly and down to earth. Excellent doctor.

He was my family Dr for many years. Always helpful and took the time to listen to my problems. When he left, quinsam medical was supposed to get a replacement doctor to take his place. They had months to find someone but did not fill the position. I know a lot of people that went to Dr Jacobs and they were all told to go somewhere else. Very unprofessional ! Dr Jacobs will be missed

Dr Jacobs has been extremely helpful both to my self and to my wife . I went thru prostate cancer , he diagnosed early , I had my operation and I feel fine . He is also trying hard to help my wife during her difficult times . He is very knowledgeable, very kind and very helpful .

Dr. Jacobs was extremely condescending towards me. He told me that my back pain was caused by a lack of exercise and several times he rolled his eyes while I was describing my pain. He rushed me out of his office and offered no treatment options. I was finally diagnosed (in the ER) with a disc injury and was able to receive the physiotherapy that I needed. He is no longer my doctor.

Very knowledgable, polite, humorous but serious, positive, a very learned Doctor who seems to enjoy doctoring.Confident and professional yet open to patient feedback/suggestions. Just a great Dr. for our family. Has gone out of his way to be helpful with trying hard to fit my busy out of town grown child into an appointment. He really cared.He gives such positive and dynamic energy that is uplifting and encouraging, I tell him to make sure he takes care of himself too! Good that he likes the outdoors. He's a keeper, our Dr. Jacobs. Quinsam Medical has an awesome staff too.

alot of doctors don't listen, he does. And he loves fishing and being out on the water with his kid, so obviously he's a cool guy.
